As the call ended, Yunho looked at everyone, pleading to help him silently. Wooyoung and Seonghwa now approached the three at the living room. Mingi raised Yunho, and accompanied him towards the sofa, while Hongjoong, as always, got all the firearms and put them in a cabinet. Mingi couldn't help but notice the terrified look on Yunho's face. The sweaty palm that he has been holding, kept on trembling with each second. He then looked at Yunho's face directly, their eyes met. Like antidote, Yunho calmed down at the sight of Mingi's face.
"How's your brother?"
"He's, um... He's still there, as you had heard," Yunho sobbed, wiping his tears, not looking away from Mingi, "I just hope Vernon would be telling the truth. We don't have anyone else to run to."
"Oi,"Mingi instantly grabbed Yunho's jaw, steadying his look at him, "Yunho, you trust Vernon more than me? Are you fucking serious?"
In that moment, all their memories flashbacked to Yunho. The laughter, tears, holding each other's hand going home...
"Um..." Hongjoong wanted to ask Yunho if he has eaten, but he was too stunned to speak. He went towards the kitchen, grabbing Seonghwa by the arms.
"You love me, right?"
Seonghwa's eyes widened and he let out a snort, "What's with you, Hongjoong?"
"Mingi and Yunho are making out, like literally kissing with tongue at the sofa."
"Hmmm, let them be,"Seonghwa shrugged, "Unless you want that now, too?"
Hongjoong crinkled his nose due to Seonghwa's cringe statement, "I like doing that privately..."
As Yunho and Mingi are still in the sofa, Wooyoung threw a pillow at them.
"Use the room upstairs, please. I'll be preparing myself as a dead person here."

"I asked you, once again, who owns the drugs that were discovered at Itaewon?"
San was still in handcuffs. The new lieutenant was too persistent in interrogating him that they had been at this question for six hours, nonstop.
However, San doesn't answer but just smirked.
The door then finally opened, and a police officer scurried towards Jungkook and whispered something.
"Tch, fine," Jungkook looked at San with such disgust, "Choi San, you will be in solitary confinement for 8 days."
The police officer was about to go outside when he took a peek on how San was doing.
That's weird, he thought, I've never seen someone ecstatic with solitary confinement...
On the other room, Vernon was still waiting for a reply from Yunho. His eyes squinted as he looked from Yunho's last message to the wall clock of the room. Ten minutes has passed. He then sighed and thought to himself that there must be a signal problem.
20 minutes...
30 minutes...
Vernon had already seen San going with four other police officers, and still no reply from Yunho.
He was about to call when a message came in.
"Sorry, I had to dispose the bodies first before sending these to you."
Vernon, finally, relaxed. He then went on his way towards the parking lot and his driver was waiting.
"Where to, Mr. Choi?"
"Office. I need to get some things. Then, we go to you-know-who."
"I see. Noted sir."
Vernon looked out the window and his eyes wandered along the lights of the city. He remembered one specific incident between him, San, Mingyu, and Seongcheol when they were kids. He hid San's favorite toy at the trunk, and San kept on fighting Mingyu that he took it. Seongcheol was defending Mingyu, and San cried louder. He then looked at his older brother.
"Hyung, they are so mean!"
"Don't worry, we will have it back at home."
Vernon's cheeky reply and smile made San smile, too. Yet, San stuck out his tongue towards Mingyu and Seongcheol.
"If it only it was that easy..." Vernon sighed as he tried not to cry.
"Sir?"
"Don't mind me, I'm talking to myself, just drive."

"They are still going at it?" Seonghwa asked, already annoyed. Hongjoong and Wooyoung could only giggle like two cute little girls as they try to eat a midnight snack.
They just don't want to interrupt the reunion of the two best friends, and their moans and groans echoing around the hallway, they can't just go upstairs.
"They've been at it for almost two hours. Can't we just stop them?"
"Let them be," Hongjoong sighed amidst the giggles, "We are not sure how this will end, so, let them be."
Upstairs, Yunho grabbed Mingi's arms and thrusted slowly behind. Mingi's moans continued to echo around the bunker house, and he couldn't contain the tears to fall. At last, Yunho shot his load after a few more thrust. They collapsed on the bed together. Yunho took off the condom before looking the person beside him. He couldn't explain how excited he was and how he wanted to express the happiness that elevated between the two of them.
"Hey," Mingi's growling voice made Yunho smile, "Stop looking, come here."
"Mingi, I'm so sorry..."
"We did say we will be together forever, right?"
"I mean," Yunho scratched his head, and adjusted his arms for Mingi to snuggle onto, "I'm sorry that we needed to part ways and have our own lives. I don't know if this was the better route, or if we stayed together would have been better or-"
"We may drifted apart, Yunho, but look at us now. We're back together. So, please, shut up, I wanna rest."
Yunho, for the first time in years, laughed and kissed at the almost asleep Mingi.
"Okay, princess..."

Solitary confinement was the goal.
San looked at the room, and it only had a bed foam, a sink, and a toilet bowl.
"Hmm, not bad for this kind of thing."
San was immediately pushed inside by the guard, and locked him inside the cell. He then plopped to the bed foam, falling asleep.
After maybe an hour or so, his cell is being opened.
"I don't know what gives, but why are you interrogating him inside the cell?"
"Doctor's orders. They said he will talk if no one's looking."
"Okay, lieutenant, I'll be right here outside."
Jungkook went towards a half-awake San. He sat down at the floor, near the bed, where San is still laying.
"You are one big, brave, tough guy..."
"Thank you," Jungkook smiled, as he lit a cigarette, "I'll treat it as a compliment."
San then sat up, arranging his hair with his bare hands.
"I'm given three hours." Jungkook gave two sticks of cigarettes to San.
"That's good enough, lieutenant," San said, as he lit his cigarette, "So, where do you want me to start?"
Jungkook squinted his eyes and thought for a while. He puffed a smoke, then, looked at San.
"Start from the Better Tidings Educational Foundation."
