Chuuya walked outside, the cold breeze quickly blowing against him. Water droplets clung to his face, running down his cheeks and falling off his chin. Chuuya looked up, rain poured from the sky, cold rain drops splashing on the ground. Chuuya let out a hum, pulling his bag back up his shoulder. He walked out into the rain, feeling as the water dropped on his head. It was cold, but it felt nice, despite the goosebumps that scattered across his arms.
Chuuya liked the rain, he always found it quite soothing to watch. He liked walking in it, aswell. For some reason, it made him feel more human. The clouds swelled, looking much more different than this morning. They were a dark grey, the ends a bit lighter than the middle. The clouds were all puffy, filled with water that was finally being let free.
Chuuya stuck his hand out of his pocket, feeling the cold drops of waters fall onto his hand, making a small 'blop' with each fall of a droplet. Chuuya watched as the water fell, looking down at his now semi-wet hand. It was raining quite hard. Chuuya was quite soaked now, his sweater cold and wet. Water was dripping from the ends of it, down onto his black jeans.
The rain was quite lovely. It always put Chuuya in a calmed state, relaxing his tenses muscles. He wondered if Dazai liked the rain. He never asked him, so he didn't actually know. Chuuya was pretty sure he didn't, as he'd always groan in frustration when the water started falling from the sky. But, for some reason, that wasn't what he was wondering. Yes, he wondered if Dazai liked the rain, but not if he liked it in general.
That was confusing, wasn't it? Chuuya didn't really know what he meant by that himself. Maybe he meant it as if Dazai liked watching the rain, if it calmed his tensed state like it did with Chuuya. But that didn't sound right, either. Maybe he wondered if Dazai liked the feeling of rain on his skin, the cold chill that would run down your spine. No, it wasn't that either.
Maybe he was wondering if Dazai liked the rain because of Chuuya. Watching the happy grin that spread across Chuuya's face as he felt the first couple drops of rain. He couldn't help but think of all the happy times him and Dazai experienced in the rain. It was as if he'd always loved it, but Chuuya knew that wasn't true. He liked it only with Chuuya, because of Chuuya.
That brought a soft smile to his face. Chuuya snapped out of his thoughts, quickly glancing around him. He let out a heavy sigh, pulling his hood over his head. It was weird, not having Dazai run out to him after classes were out for the day. Chuuya still hadn't gotten use to it, he couldn't help but stand outside the highschool for a couple extra minutes, as if maybe, just maybe, Dazai would run out to him once more, like before.
Flashback
Chuuya looked at down at his watch. 16:07. Chuuya let out a huff, he promised Dazai he'd be there by 16:20. He had 13 minutes to get there, hopefully he wouldn't be too late.
Chuuya panted as he reached the hospital doors, pushing them open. He had run the whole way here, wanting to make it on time, or as close to it as possible. Chuuya walked up the front desk, a tall lady standing behind the counter.
"Hello, how may I help you?" The kind lady asked, looking up at the man who had just walked in. A small grin slithered onto her face. "Ah! Chuuya!" She said with a cheerful grin. Her and Chuuya knew eachother quite well, as he was here pretty often. They usually engaged in small talk for a bit each day he was here, which was a lot.
"Hi Dr. Yosano." Chuuya said with a soft grin. "Is he free right now?" Yosano looked at Chuuya, quickly looking at her computer for a moment. "Mhm! No ones been in but you since he's been here. Poor lad." Yosano said with a soft sigh. "He's real lucky to have someone like you who visits him almost every day." That soft grin placed itself on Yosano's face once more.
