"I want to talk to prince alone," chavi announced after the competition there were sitting in the royal gest room to discuss future of this union.
Queen approved but three people were glaring at him she literally drag her husband and sons out of the room.
Chavi stood her ground, her eyes narrowing as she watched Murat move confidently around her, his every step purposeful.
She had known from the moment he entered the competition that this would be no ordinary match, but hearing his words now, she could feel the weight of his intentions.
Her pulse quickened, and despite herself, she was intrigued by the sheer audacity of his proposal.
As Murat circled her like a predator sizing up his prey, the tension in the room thickened. His every movement was calculated, as though he believed his presence alone was enough to command attention and respect.
The air between them crackled with an intensity that only grew stronger with every passing second.
She watched as he came to a sudden halt in front of her, dropping to his knees with an ease that spoke volumes about his confidence. His eyes, locked onto hers, gleamed with a fire that was hard to ignore.
"Princess," he began, his voice low and husky, "If you marry me, You will be the queen of Arub, not a mere princess. You will live in luxury, surrounded by servants, power, and untold wealth. You will have it all."
Chavi, unfazed by his words, tilted her head slightly, an enigmatic smirk playing at the corners of her lips. She knew she was dealing with a man who believed his position and promises could sway her. But she would not be so easily moved.
"What will you get, Prince ?" she asked, her tone daring, her eyes flashing with challenge. "Why marry me? What's in it for you?"
Murat's gaze deepened, and he leaned closer, his voice dropping even lower, now a velvet whisper that only she could hear. "I will get the one thing that every ruler craves—a partner worthy of ruling by my side. A queen who is not just a symbol of my power but a true partner in every sense. You will be my only sultana, Chavi. I swear it to you. I will never marry again. No other woman will ever take your place in my heart or my empire."
His words hung in the air like a dangerous promise. His sincerity was palpable, but so was his calculated charm. Every move he made, every word he spoke, seemed designed to pull her closer into his web.
Chavi felt her heart race, but it wasn't from fear. It was from the thrill of the unknown. This man, this prince from Arub, was dangerous in a way she hadn't expected. He was powerful, confident, and strangely compelling. But she wasn't one to be easily won over, not by promises of luxury or power.
She tilted her head, her lips curling into a sly smile. "And what makes you think I would want to marry you?" she asked, her voice laced with a dangerous edge, the challenge clear in her tone. "What makes you think I would give up on the place where I was born, move so away from my family, and everything I know for you?"
Murat remained on his knees, his posture unyielding, his eyes never leaving hers. "Because, princess," he said softly, "you and I both know that power alone doesn't make a ruler. It's the one who commands respect, who has strength not just in battle, but in their heart. I see that in you. I see the woman who could be my equal. The one who would rule beside me, not behind me."
Chavi's smirk deepened, her eyes sparkling with a mixture of amusement and challenge. "You think you can break me, Prince Murat? That I will bow to you because of your promises and your power?" she asked, her voice dangerously soft.
Murat's smile remained unchanged, though there was something dark behind his eyes now. He knew he had her attention. "I think, Princess, you're the one who will make me bend to you in the end," he said, his voice a low murmur as he stood, slowly rising to his full height, never breaking eye contact. "I am not just offering you a title. I am offering you the power to shape a kingdom, to stand at my side as my queen. To be the ruler you were born to be."
Chavi's heart pounded, but she refused to let her emotions show. She had been raised in a world where power was the ultimate currency, but she wasn't sure if she was ready to gamble everything on a man who had just entered her life so forcefully. Still, part of her was intrigued.
She stood up from her chair, her eyes never leaving his. "We'll see if your words match your actions, Prince. You have earned the right to be my suitor, but this marriage... it's far from certain."
Murat's grin was slow and knowing, as though he had already won, as though he knew this was just the beginning of a game that would unfold on his terms. "We will see, Princess. We will see."
The tension between them crackled, the air thick with unspoken promises and challenges. Chavi knew this encounter was only the beginning of something much more complex, much more dangerous. But she was not one to shy away from a challenge.
And with that, the game had begun.
