The lost city of Atlantis

CHAPTER 1: DISCOVERIES

"Jasmine switch off your phone and answer the question"said Mrs Ellie.
"Umm.... I think the answer is 24?"said jasmine still on her phone.
"You are going to spend another week in detention, you should be serious with your studies"said Mrs Ellie.
"But I am serious with my studies"said jasmine.
"I am going to set you up with a student who will serve as your tutor,Mrs chambers"said Mrs Ellie.
"But...."Mrs Ellie cutted off Jasmine's sentence and said "No 'but's just go and come back to my office tomorrow".said Mrs Ellie.
Jasmine left and slammed the door at Mrs Ellie's face.

"Ugh can you believe you it, am going to be set up with one of those nerds to be my tutor"said jasmine to her best friend Carrie.
"Ugh if I were you I would just die cause I can't spend the rest of my day reading trash while I have things to do"said Carrie in a disgusted tone.
Jasmine and Carrie are the richest girls in the school. They bully other children especially nerds or those who are in a lower class than them.
"If I don't agree to this decision she will report to my parents and I will be shipped off to a boarding school"said jasmine snapping her fingers.
"Girl you gotta have to do it but just make some time for me okay"said Carrie patting her friends back.

"Mom Mrs Ellie said she wants to set me up with a tutor in school"said jasmine.
"That's really good dear and maybe that will help you improve in your studies"said Jasmine's mom .
"But mom you know I have other things to do and I can't just leave my boyfriend and Carrie"said jasmine pissed at her mom's reply.
"You have to focus sweetie I want you to become successful like me"said Jasmine's mom as she's stirring her cake mixture.
"Okay mom I will do my best"said jasmine as she stormed out of the kitchen.

"Mrs chambers your going to meet your new tutor in the library immediately after lunch in the library"said Mrs Ellie after class was over.
"Why do I have to meet her or is it a he??"asked jasmine.
"His name is Kyle and he will be your tutor for the whole session"said Mrs Ellie as she left the class.
"Well I hope he's cute"said jasmine as she leaves her class.

Immediately after lunch jasmine was in the library waiting for her tutor to arrive.
"Hey you must be the student am meant to tutor, my name is Kyle by the way".
Jasmine stared at the blonde guy looking at her with his hand extended for a hand shake.
"Hii my name is Jasmine"said jasmine as she looked at his body structure.
"Lord he looks like a guy that just came out from a magazine"muttered jasmine.
"Okay let's start shall we?"asked Kyle.
"Um yes let's start with physics cause am kinda bad"said jasmine as she tried to hide her blush.
"Okay let's start with gravity. If you don't understand just ask ok?"said Kyle.
"Yes I will"said jasmine as she stared at him.

After the tutoring classes, jasmine rushed out of the library to look for Carrie.
"Hey girl am done"said jasmine.
"Hey how was it and who tutored you?"asked Carrie.
"It was awesome and the guy that tutored me, his name is Kyle"said jasmine.
"Girl how does he look"asked Carrie smirking.
"Omg like he's blonde and the shirt he wore I could see his abs and he's tall and really nice"said jasmine excitedly.
"Wow I know u had soo much fun"said Carrie.
"He looks like a famous magazine guy"said jasmine
"Okay okay lover girl let's go to the mall"said Carrie.

"Hey sweetie how was your tutoring today"asked Jasmine's mom.
"It was really good and I understood the topic which was gravity"said jasmine.
"That's really nice, would you like some cookies and milk?"asked Jasmine's mom.
"Sure why not, I even have to go to my room and prepare for school tomorrow"said jasmine as she took her cookies and milk to her room.

Jasmine was sitting in the library waiting for her tutor to come but she got bored and explored the library. She went to an isle where the old books were kept and no one was there.
"Well lemme see what books they got"said jasmine to herself.
She spotted a big shiny book with some areas made with gold.
"Wow I've never seen a book like this before"said jasmine.
On the cover of the book it was titled ' Atlantis'. She carried the book to one of the benches in the library and sat down to read.
"Hey are you ready...wow where did u find this book"said Kyle, jasmine almost fell down but Kyle caught her.
"I don't know I was waiting for you then I got bored and went to one isle where old books are kept then I found this beauty"said jasmine.
Staring at each other Kyle let go of jasmine as she got back on her two feet she muttered a thanks.
"Soo.... let's see what discoveries we can find in this book shall we?"asked Kyle.
"Yes I was about to open it before you startled me"said jasmine trying to hide her blush.
  When jasmine and Kyle opened the book, there were some writing's written in another language but they couldn't understand but there were some writing's in English.
"Atlantis was sunk down do the bottom of the ocean and no one knows why?"said jasmine as she shut the book.
"Wow maybe if school closes I will go and explore"said Kyle.
"Yh I will come with you"said jasmine.
