Ray's pov:
It was a stormy day, I was in the library burying my face in my book trying to ignore the painfully loud thunders outside.
Every time a lightning would struck i would flinch, the horrible headache i had made things even worse. Ever since i was small thunderstorms were terrifying to me I've always been afraid of the loud noises thunder makes, but usually they would only occure at night so that means that most of the time mother was there to comfort me however during the days it was always more difficult because the younger kids were crying I didnt want to stress mom out more so i would always hide away. Most of the time Emma and Norman were with me and it was pretty helpful but since they grew up they've decited to help mother as well.
I placed my book down realizing it wasnt helping with anything. i felt pathetic and stupid, I wasn't a little kid anymore to fear useless things. I let my head fall back hitting the wall as tears started streaming down my face, I didnt understand why i was crying. I just covered my face with my hands and sobbed uncontrollably like a small child.

Norman's pov:
Mother managed to calm down all of the children as Emma brought some books over telling mother that she will read them to the younger ones.
For some reason i felt like something is missing, i looked around and realized that Ray was nowhere to be found. I've got up from my chair and asked mother if she knew anything about where he could be.
She apologises and tells me that she haven't seen him since the storm has started, I've thanked her and started searching for Ray.
As i was walking down the hallway while passing the library room i heard soft sobs.
All of the children were with mother and Emma so i knew that could only be Ray.
I slowly opened the door closing it behind me as i entered the room. I walked twords were the sobbing was coming from only to see Ray sitting down his eyes puffy and his nose red from crying so hard. I always knew he had a fear of storms but never knew it was this bad, I sat down next to him gently pulling him closer to me.

Ray's pov:
I felt Norman's hand on my face softly wiping away some of my tears as i heard him say "Im here. You are safe now, i promise" As a soft smile appeard on his face, i loved him so much i just couldn't help but smile back at him. He hugged me tightly and kissed my forhead. "we should go wash your face, It will help you calm down a little" Norman said while helping me get up.
"You are right" i say between sobs.
We arrive at the bathroom. Norman grabs a clean towel putting it the sink pouring water on it, He grabs my chin softly dabbing my face with the towel. "Ray if you know that storms scare you and you dont like being alone why didn't you ask me or Emma to hangout with you" Norman asks with a worried voice. "I really do not wanna bother you guys" i say feeling a little embarrassed
"Sweetheart you know we always hangout and help each other when needed no need to feel embarrassed to ask for help, thats what friends are for" Norman says while putting the towel to dry on the bathroom counter.
"Now come on let's go join the others, im sure that will help even more" Norman smiles and grabs my hand leading me to the bedroom where everyone was.
