Rosie and Emris decided to go to a bakery shop, the one that Rosie always goes there craving on sweets. Already inside, the owner and the employee greeted the couple then escorted them to a seat near the window.
It's was only the two of them inside the shop, Emris asked the owner his dessert and ordered one of Rosie's favorite. It's miraculous that he'd knew various things about her and yet, he still haven't told her about himself. He never mentioned anything about Lunaris, "Emris, if you don't mind sharing your thoughts, do you mind telling me about your home life in Lunaris?"
She asked as they've waited for their dessert to arrive, Emris seems to frown at the mention of Lunaris but Rosie could see he's avoiding eye contact with her, "Why interested in Lunaris all of a sudden? It's not like I'm heading back home anytime soon, and since we're soon to be married, I have to know more about you and Rosetta Island."
"Since we are to betrothed, it's my right to heard all about your Island such as your people, family life, just basically...who is Emris Lunacy?" Rosie says in a soft tone, trying to convince him to speak about his Island.
She's more curious about him and his Island because she'd seen the Map of the Grand Line and she seen the Island being on the map. (Except for Rosetta for a reason.) All except for Lunaris. She's never heard of the Island before or does she knew of any royal family members that's currently living in Lunaris.
Before he could answer, the baker handed them their delicious sweets to their table, "Here you go to our future Queen and King of Rosetta Island. Don't worry about payment, it's my pleasure to serve you one of my dessert pastries to you." The baker said while smiling at the couple, Rosie refused to let him give his hard work away.
"No, it's fine. We'll pay for our pastries, how else would you continue with your business if you give out to us for free." Rosie argues and doesn't realize she'd gotten up from her seat to follow the owner of the shop to the register. The pinkette pulls out her money to hand the man for serving them.
As the two continue to bicker about paying or not paying, Emris continues to watch Rosie talking to the owner with such admiration in his eyes. To him, she can't do no wrong.
He daydream about his life with her in Rosetta. He doesn't want anyone else but her. She's his oxygen, his life, his love, his muse to continue life. He would absolutely die for her...even kill for her.
His daydream was interrupted when a woman came to sat next to him, her hand all over his biceps, "What's the Princes of Lunaris doing alone without his princess?" She asked him. Emris rejects the women touch and moved away from her, trying to keep distance between them.
