Drew's P.O.V

I walked into the backyard, not even half way filled with the rest of the students from school. That didn't make it a bad thing since the backyard was huge, the outside of the house looked like a castle! Damn, Steven was a fuckin' lucky millionaire, well his parents were. They were never around though, that's why he took advantage and threw a huge party. Lights hung up from everywhere that lighted up the mood. Music played in the background. It didn't seem to be any random party. It was as if it were his birthday or something, everything was well decorated. Actual food, all sorts of beverages. Imagine if it were his birthday!

Hmm, Steven was nice enough to invite almost the whole high school.

As I walked, I studied my surroundings. Something inside of me told me that there was something wrong, things just didn't seem quite right. I walked along one of the paths that ended at the center of the backyard, there were two paths. In between them was a small bridge which made the place look even more elegant. Students from school were already enjoying themselves as they entered the party, dancing as they smoothly walked. Normal so far.

The thing that caught my attention was that the girl who I had grown interested in was only a few feet away from me. She was with a friend. I couldn't help but to notice how beautiful she looked with a simple yet gorgeous flowery dress and her beautiful wavy hair down. In my eyes she was always gorgeous no matter what. Too bad I never dared talked to her for more than ten seconds. We had only spoken a few times but not much. Of course we both knew each other, we basically only greeted each other though. Since it was late, the moon was out and it really lighted up her smile.

I looked away from her with a smile on my face and put my attention onto what I noticed next, making my smile disappear. I didn't notice it before but there were guards blocking every path and some stood in the middle of the small bridge. They were dressed like praetorian guards, it seemed to be part of the theme party. Either way, I got a discomfort feeling from it. It just didn't feel right. I then finally saw Steven, the one who organized everything, the one who randomly threw a party as if it were his birthday.

He stood on some sort of a small stage set up, seeming as if he were above everyone else. He watched as his guests arrived, a smirk on his face the whole time.

Two of the guards made movement towards Steven, I carefully walked in closer to eavesdrop, making sure no to be seen. Cautiously, I walked beside the stage and smiled as if I were enjoying the party.

"We're ready for your order, master," one of the guards said to Steven.

"Not yet," replied Steven with a hand held as a 'stop' sign. "Lets wait until more guest arrive," he wandered his eyes to the main enterance of his backyard. "No one will see it coming, haha, poor idiots," he laughed.

What the hell? I wasn't sure of what he meant by that. Suddenly, it was as if a little voice inside my head was telling me to get the hell out of here. Danger alert!

I rapidly turned my head to every direction to see if I saw any of my friends but they were out of sight. 'Fuck' I thought when I saw that the guards were still blocking the way, things were making sense. They were there to make sure that we wouldn't be able to leave. They were keeping us in!

I was now only standing a few yards away from the guards who were amazingly but frighteningly standing perfectly straight without making any movement. Their eyes wide open, their chests popped out.

To my side, the beautiful girl, Mia was still standing a few feet from me. She was chatting away with her friend, she seemed to be enjoying the party... so far. This feeling inside of me wasn't letting me stay calm, I had to get out before anything happened.
