romelos friends had left and it was the next day. neveah and romelo had been hanging out the whole day and they didn't plan on doing anything. eryn had texted her saying she was coming over so she had told romelo. "melo eryn is coming over" she told the boy making him roll his eyes.

"that girl piss me offf" he said making neveah side eye him. "i don't even understand why you don't like her" she said.

"because she treats you so bad you just don't see it" he responded.  before neveah could say anything else she heard knocking at the door. she made her way downstairs and looked through the peephole to see eryn.

"hii erynnn!" neveah said before she went to give the girl a hug. but instead of eryn returning it she just gave her a side hug. as soon as they were about to go upstairs they had heard somebody else knocking.

"neveah you invited somebody else? i didn't think you had any other friends." eryn stated laughing at her comment. neveah had forced a laugh before brushing it off. eryn would always said rude stuff about neveah but she claimed it was a 'joke'. even though sometimes it would hurt neveah feelings she let it slide.

she opened the door to see romelos girlfriend samarianna. neveah was very fond of the girl. she was so sweet and she loved seeing her and romelo together. on the other hand eryn didn't like her. she had some sort of animosity towards samarianna that neveah was often confused about. the only reason eryn acted that way was because she liked romelo but neveah wasn't aware of that.

"hi mari! i didn't know you were coming." she said before giving to girl a hug. neveah let her in and eryn had rolled her eyes as she laid eyes on her. samarianna knew eryn didn't like her but she didn't care. she just let it go and went on with her day.

before neveah could walk samarianna to romelos room he came down the stairs. as he was walking towards his girlfriend eryn attempted to give him a hug. "girl get off me" romelo muttered as he pushed him off of her. he had mean mugged her before giving his girlfriend a hug. they walked upstairs leaving neveah and eryn alone.

"come on we can go to my room" neveah exclaimed making eryn shrug her shoulders. they walked upstairs while eryn lazily looked around neveahs home. the girl was aware of how much money neveah had. she knew that if you would ask her she would buy you anything . that was part of the reason eryn spent time with her. she hadn't really cared about neveah as a person she just liked the thought of being able to get stuff from her.

they sat down in her bed and eryn picked up the remote to pick out something to watch. she put on a horror movie which she knew eryn didn't want to watch. "eryn can we watch something else" she stated with barely any base in her voice.

"veah stop being such a cry baby" eryn said with her voice flat. neveah had just put up with it so she could hang out with her best friend. her and eryn became very distant lately so she was very grateful for the time she had with her right now.

they were watching the movie and as eryn had her eyes glued to it not saying a word to neveah eryn's phone started to buzz. eryn had quickly picked it up and she seen it was one of her other friends.

she had felt a pit in her stomach that eryn would talk to somebody else at her house.

eryn had been on the phone for maybe another hour. the movie was over and neveah started to get bored. "eryn do you want to do something?" she asked seeing the irritation growing in her friends eyes as neveah had started speaking to her.

"shh veah you see i'm talking to my friends" she replied going back to talking about some kind of drama neveah wasn't interested in. she had left the room walking over to romelos room.

"yooo veah what are you doing in here" he asked as he was playing fortnite with his girlfriend.

"eryn's on the phone with her other friends" she said with sadness all over her face. neveah didn't think eryn liked her anymore. she had gotten a new group of friends and basically forgotten about her.

"aww i'm sorry veah. you can stay in here if you want" samarianna said making a small smile appear on neveah a face.

"but then i would be ditching her" neveah explained making romelos joking let out a loud sigh.

"just shut up and hop on the game" romelo said to her handing the girl a controller as they were in the lobby. after not even five minutes eryn had walked into romelos room completely unannounced.

"um veah my friends are here to take me to the mall. i just thought i'd tell you before i go" eryn said awkwardly standing as romelo had glared at her almost the whole time.

"we were supposed to spend the day together though?" neveah questioned slightly tilting her head. eryn had looked agitated as her phone kept going off.

" i'm not gonna have time for you all the time. i mean honestly neveah it's like your in love with me or something." eryn said not processing what came out of her mouth. she had left the room before neveah could say anything.

neveahs eyes had started to swell up as she seen her best friend leave. she felt embarrassed about what just happened in front of her brother and his girlfriend. she had left the room before romelo had started following her. she had laid down on her bed thinking about the fact that her best friend had walked out on her.

"i'm sorry veah" romelo said giving the girl a hug before she had completely broke down. romelo had left as he knew neveah didn't like for people to see her in such a vulnerable state.

she had genuinely felt so hurt that her best friend would leave her like that. she also couldn't help from feeling like she was being so sensitive. i mean she knew eryn's life wasn't going to be centered around neveah, but she still could've spent the day with her.

she was still in her room when she was on instagram seeing eryn had a new post. she clicked on it and it was eryn with neveahs ex boyfriend. she had immediately felt anger rise within her. it was multiple things stacked on top of each other that had made neveah grow tired of being eryn's friend.
