January 12, 098 DC.

A transport ship slowly drifted into space as Glare stood in the hangar. Its full height, including the horns, is 15 meters or 49 feet and 2 inches. Inside the cockpit, Umar waited as the coms suddenly started to stagnate before finally coming in clearly.

"Hello?" Tori's voice called. "It's finally working," Tori sighed as Umar prepared mentally for his first mission. "Samantha will give you the rundown for this mission, but after that, we'll attend briefings together."

"Wolf, I've managed to land a deal with American Arms Inc. and Europe United Technologies. This mission comes from American Arms Inc. An arms group had taken over the South Pole space fortress overnight. This arms group is known to dismiss the likes of our employers as the new government. So, as a result, they're branded as terrorists. As Sadara's new Apex merc, you're the main show today. Impress the company governments. It's our only shot.

There was a short pause as the woman caught her breath for a second before continuing. "The arms group had been spotted to have multiple Regulars and Knights at their disposal. The Regulars are easy, but they count as a bonus. The main prize here is the Knights. A total of five are littered throughout the city. Put on a show for us and take them down."

With that, Samantha's communications shut off. Seconds later, arms moved around Glare, and a set of missiles attached behind the left and right shoulder, on the side just above the boosters on the back. The missile's pod code name is SKY-LLDS, housing five rockets in total. The TYRANT-3, a handheld Bazooka, not an over-the-shoulder one, is attached where weapons can be stored between the engines of Glare.

In its right hand was the BL-Y2, an automatic rifle with a medium firing rate and medium stats across the board. On the left forearm was a plasma saber hilt, which could be used on said forearm without being hand-held, which is better for multiple uses with other weapons in the free hand.

Once everything was in place, the doors slowly started to open. Glare hunched a bit after activation, and the light blue sensors in its body and head glowed. The thrusters started flaring, and the hidden thrusters slowly folded outward from their hidden positions. Glare entered BM with the thrusters and catapult, pushing the white Gen into the open space.

"Commencing Mission," Tori spoke up as Umar neared the Fortress. "Reading multiple Regulars guarding the gate. Take them out."

Glare exited BM but still glided through the weightless area. Closing in, Glare opened fire with a set of missiles. They left the pod and hit them seconds later, destroying five of the six.

"W-what?! Who's-?! AHHH!" Because of the remainder of Glare's speed at the initial start, he reached the Reg while smoke and balls of fire distorted the pilot's view. With an ignited Plasma saber, Glare slashed diagonally, cutting through the armor like butter in one swoop. The sliced machine didn't explode yet floated with the rest of its former squad. Boosting slowly, Umar reached a door. He began to scan it.

"Right, leave this to me," Tori said as she began to work her magic. Within seconds, the door opened. Glare moved inside as gravity started to take hold of the Apex, causing it to land on its feet. Gliding through the long hall of the fortress before the young man came across another door. Repeating the action from earlier, the door opened, revealing a city inside.

"According to the radar, the Knights are within the city. I'm setting up markers of their potential location as they move. Be careful."

Thrusters pushed Glare from the door as Umar descended into the city, gently landing on a main highway before gliding forward.
