Ch. 4

                                                Mika POV

 At night, in the Sakamaki mansion.Me, Yui and the brothers sit at the dining table. The brothers eat their meal, but Yui sits silently. I am sitting in between Shuu and Subaru, I am sitting on a stack of books due to how small I am, sure I am six but I look as if I am three, I guess not getting fed daily does that to a kid, 

"You haven't eaten very much, Little Bitch." Laito says next to Yui's ear

I take a bite of food, I revel in the taste, at most I would have a slice of bread and that was if I didn't get caught.

"Ah... Ah...!" Yui jumps

"You need to eat properly or you could become anemic. Would you like me to feed you?" Laito teases 

"Laito." Reiji says 

"Ngh..." Laito grunts 

"It's bad manners to get to your feet during a meal." Reiji says 

"Yes, sir. We'll continue this later, Little Bitch." Laito says 

 Laito returns to his seat. Shuu gets up from his seat.]

"Ah..." Yui says surprised 

"Shuu?" She asked

"This is a pain." Shuu says 

 Shuu leaves the room.

Reiji

"That deadbeat... Nothing good can come of anyone who grows up spoiled rotten." Reiji says 

"Teddy, what would you like to eat next? Let's have a banana snowball." Kanato says

 Kanato tries to stab through a cookie with a fork but breaks it in half.

"Ngh..." Kanato says frustrated 

 Kanato begins repeatedly stabbing through the cookies on the plate.

"Ngh... Fufu... Fufufu... Hahahaha!" Kanato says as he continues 

"He won't even make the effort to attend our monthly dinner party. That will be all for today." Reiji says 

"Huh?" Yui says 

 The brothers get up to leave.

Yui gets up to leave as well.

I remain in my seat, This will probably be my last meal for a while I'm not gonna waste it.

"One moment." Reiji says to Yui

"Ah..." She stops

Your table manners are deplorable. One of these days, I will take you aside and discipline you thoroughly. Understood? At least she has manners, perhaps you should take some notes from her." Reiji motions to me

Yui glares at me I just look down finishing my food

"Yes, sir." She says 

I finally finish my food I watch as Reiji gathers the plates, I jump off the seat and decide to help him best to my ability, I follow him into the kitchen where he places the plates and silverware he had in the sink, when he turns around I hand him the rest of the plates and silver ware, 

"Thank you Mika," He says 

I nod, 

"Did you finish your meal?" He asked 

I nodded 

He smiles

He lifts his hand I thought he was about to hit me but I don't flinch pats me on top of the head

"Well done." He says 

I look up at him a bit confused, No one has ever praised me before, and how he is and just for eating,

"Now run along and don't get into any trouble, Understood?" He says his hand still on top of my head 

I nod, 

I walk out of the room, clutching my bunny,

I was in my room when the door swung open I turned around I see Yui, she's angry, 

"You." She says venom in her voice, 

I back up as she storms towards me, 

"I thought I specifically told you never to speak, I hate the sound of your voice," She says, 

I clutch my bunny as I shake, 

Next thing I know she hits me, so hard that I fall to the ground, I hold my cheek, 

"Next time your punishment will be far worse, remember you are nothing, Nothing but an insect," She says 

"What is going on in here?" I hear Reiji's voice

I grab my bunny standing I push Yui, and take off running, I run out the mansion, and find myself in a garden of roses, I hide behind a tree sliding down it clutching the bunny, 

I Hear movement behind me, 

"Huff Huff, where did she go?' I hear Ayato's voice 

"The little cutie is faster than she appears." I hear Laito say, 

I don't move but remain quiet, I hear their footsteps fade as they continue running, 

I feel my cheek with my hand, Knowing it probably already is turning red, 

"What are you doing?" I hear from behind the tree, 

I peek out from my spot to see Subaru, 

I stand up, and walk out from behind the tree, clutching my bunny, 

I am now standing in front of him, He is glaring, Not at me I can tell he's looking at the slap mark, He is now keeling in front of me, 

"What happened?" He asked 

I was about to speak when His eyes widen and I feel a liquid falling down out of my nose, I touch it and look at my fingers, 

Blood...
