Song of the Chapter: "Secret" by Austin Mahone
*FLASHBACK*
Brenda Taylor's POV
"Mrs. Taylor, there seems to be another little baby in your womb," The doctor looked up at me. "Please, push again." I stared up at him in shock, but began pushing anyways.
As I kept pushing, I heard the sound of loud cries fill the room once again. "It's a girl!" The nurse exclaimed. I smiled widely at my husband.
"What're we gonna name her?" Brandon, my husband, asked.
"Olivia." I stated, proud of the two names I came up with for both of my babies.
Anthony and Olivia.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
Olivia Taylor's POV
"Anthony, give it back to me!" I screamed at my brother, who was getting on my last nerve.
"Olivia, stop yelling! I can hear you all the way from where I am!" My mom shouted from downstairs.
"Yeah, Olivia, stop yelling." My brother mocked my mother as he smirked and stuck his tongue out at me.
"Ha. Ha. So mature, Tony." I rolled my eyes. I swear, he makes me wanna choke him.
"Who's Justin, Olivia?" He smirked while making kissy faces.
"He's none of your business, so butt out, loser." I snatched my phone from his hands, leaving him shocked.
I walked downstairs and grabbed my keys to the house and my car. I gave both of my parents a kiss on the cheek and grabbed my backpack.
"I love you!" I shouted, waiting for their responses. "We love you too, sweetie! Drive safely and have fun at school!" my mom responded for both of them.
I chuckled, before closing the front door and getting into my car. School was only four minutes away from my house. I usually go pick up my best friend first, though.
I honked the horn when I reached her house. Scarlett has a twin brother, just like me. Her brother, Hunter, is my brother's best friend.
Scarlett and I usually take turns with who picks up who. The same routine goes for Anthony and Hunter. "Hurry up, Scarlett!" I shouted through the window at my best friend, who was taking her precious time to lock her front door.
"I'm going as fast as I can, chill out!" She replied, laughing. "Well, clearly, it's not fast enough!" I commented, rolling my eyes.
"Okay, let's go." She smiled as she got in the car. I drove off and turned up the radio.
As I was driving, I saw someone, walking with a backpack, in the distance. When I got closer, I turned off the radio, pulled over, and rolled down Scarlett's window.
Once the window was completley down, I realized it was Justin, one of the nerdy kids.
"Hey! Justin!" I yelled as he looked over. "Do you want a ride?" I asked.
"No, I don't want to be a burden on you." He shrugged.
"You won't be, I promise. Come on, get in!" I urged.
"Are you sure? I don't want people to think badly of you, if they see you with me..." He trailed off.
"Don't be silly! Screw them, come on!" I kept on encouraging.
"Okay." He agreed, while opening the backseat door of my car. We smiled at each other, before I drove to school.
I parked the car, turned off the engine, grabbed my backpack and got out of the car. As I walked around my car, I admired it, like always.
"You have a really nice car, you know that?" Justin complimented. I nodded, grinning from ear to ear. "You're a lucky girl. This is a BMW 650i Gran Coupe, right? In Mediterranean Blue Metallic?" He smirked.
I looked at him with a shocked expression. "How'd you know all of that?" I questioned. "It used to be my dream car." He chuckled.
"Oh yeah? What's your dream car now?" I was actually curious.
"You'll find out, if you know me in the future." He smiled, half-heartedly.
I nodded, smiling, as well. "Come on, let's go, guys."
"Oh, don't worry about me. I don't want to make a fool of you. Thank you for the ride, though." Justin replied, appreciatively.
"That ride was nothing. Don't worry about it. As I said before, screw whoever would think that. Come with us, Justin, seriously." I giggled.
I grabbed onto his bicep and dragged him along with us, making small talk.
"What's your first class?" I asked him. "A.P. Chemistry. What about you?" He replied.
"A.P. English Literature and Composition," I huffed. "I hate Mr. Hawking."
"He's not that bad. I took his class last year." He smirked. I rolled my eyes.
"Maybe you can help me write the meaning of the play he assigned me then." I suggested, while groaning.
"We'll see about that." He chuckled. "Hey, are you sure about this? You have twenty steps left to change your mind and walk in there without me." He suggested.
"Justin, come on! Stop with that! I'm walking in there with you and that's final." I stated, getting aggravated.
He opened the door like a gentleman for Scarlett and I. "Thank you." We said, simultaneously.
"Well I'm gonna go to the library really quickly. I'll see you at lunch." Scarlett waved as she went her separate way.
"Ew, Olivia, what're you doing with this nerd?" Logan commented.
"He's my best friend. Now, get out of my face, Logan." I rolled my eyes.
"Well, well, well. I'm Logan, Mr. Best Friend. I'm her boyfr-" Logan attempted to introduce himself.
"Ex-boyfriend." I grit my teeth as I cut him off.
"Let's go, Justin. He's not worth our time, believe me." I laughed.
"So I'm your best friend already, huh?" Justin chuckled.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to put you on the spot. He just gets under my skin all the time." I apologized.
"It's fine. I'll walk you to class. Come on." Justin offered.
"I don't want you to be late." I replied.
"I'm not gonna be late. Plus, I'm kind of like teacher's pet." He smirked, winking at me.
"You know, I have only known you for a few minutes but I feel like you really are one of my best friends. I mean it." I smiled, when we reached my class.
He flashed a smile back at me and started walking away.
"Wait, Justin!" I said, before he turned around.
I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around his waist, pulling him into a hug.
"Thank you." I said, appreciatively.
"For what? I didn't even do anything." He looked at me, confused.
"For walking me to class. Logan never even did that when we were together. It means a lot." I smiled, half-heartedly.
He wrapped his arms around me and laughed.
"Okay, go to class now, the bell is gonna ring in three minutes. Bye, Justin, I'll see you later." I waved.
"Bye Olivia, see ya later." He waved back as he began walking away, again.
