Taylyn one shots

Swing set

I don't actually know what warnings to put this time 😭 (In this Au they all moved in together and are in the summer before college)

The whole group went to a baseball field to hangout, acting like the teenagers they couldn't be when they were younger due to the phantom dimension and the trauma of getting kidnapped into a facility.

It was currently 1 am, after being up for seven hours everyday the group stopped getting tired at night so thats when they would hang out since they were all constantly busy and never had too much time together anymore.

After the group arrived at the baseball field, they realized it had been closed because of how late it was. "we should break in!!". Aiden's suggestion had surprised everyone but they had nothing better to do, so thats what they did.

For some reason, Aiden could hop a fence which concerned the group. But they all decided to shrug it off now that they would be able to get into the baseball field.

Once Aiden got over the fence, he unlocked the gate to let the others in. Everyone but Ashlyn and Taylor decided to get on the field so it was just the boys playing, although Logan was a bit scared he would get hit in the face with a baseball. Both Taylor and Ashlyn didn't really feel like playing so they sat on the bleachers outside of the field.

Even though Ashlyn had always hated physical touch she realized that she didn't care if two certain people touched her, those two people being Taylor and Aiden, although Aiden was always touchy with everyone and she didn't really say he could touch her he just started doing it and at some point Ashlyn just didn't care anymore, but she realized Taylor was only touchy with her besides Tyler but that was her brother. Ashlyn would always find Taylor leaning on her, hugging her when the group had a sleepover, grabbing Ashlyn's hand to hold it, and always being close to her in general, though in all honesty she didn't mind at all she kind of liked it as a matter of a fact.

Once Ashlyn and Taylor sat on the bleachers, Taylor leaned on Ashlyn's shoulder and grabbed onto her hand to hold it. After so much physical touch Ashlyn realized she had feelings for Taylor and got the sense that their feelings for each other were mutual.

They began talking to each other enjoying themselves and having fun together for about an hour or so.

Ashlyn's POV:

"Hey Ashlyn do you want to go on the swing sets with me?" she asked blushing ever so slightly. I nod my head in agreement while also giving her a confused look as I see a small pink pigment on her cheeks.

Me and Taylor started heading over to the swing sets, and it popped in my brain how long it's been since i've been on a swing set. "Gosh it's been so long since I have been on one of these". "Yea honestly same, after the phantom dimension, everything changed.." "yea we haven't really been able to be kids after so much has happened to us." I say with sadness in my voice. I notice Taylor giving a sad glare at me, and she put her hand on my shoulder. "hey listen, at least we can be kids now. Im just glad we all survived." she grabbed my hand and interlocked her fingers with mine. "all? Tyler got a tree in his stomach and Aiden had a roof fall on him, technically in the phantom dimension they did die, what im glad about is that they didn't die in real life." "True, but you know what I mean".

As we walk to the swing set, we hold hands and give each other side glances as we slightly blush a little.

We arrive at the swing set and sit down next to each other, I start swinging back and forth and  start getting momentum. "Ha ha! THIS IS SO FUN" A smile reaches my face as a keep going back and forth swinging and having the time of my life. "will you catch me Taylor?!" "sure!" I hear her yell back as a watch her go in front of the swing just not so close. I start slowing myself down a bit, and I jump off the swing. Taylor catches me but we quickly lose balance.

When I opened my eyes after closing them due to to the impact of my fall, I notice that im on top of Taylor and I see her staring at me with a red-pinkish pigment flushing her cheeks. My face also becomes red. "I-I uh um Im-" I try to speak, yet I cant think what to say for some reason no words want to come out.

Taylor pulls me in and kisses me...

My face becomes red and my eyes wide in shock. Eventually she pulls away. "Listen Ashlyn I have liked you for a really long time now and I was planning on telling you soon, I just didn't know how to and-. I zone out her words as she rambles on. I think of what she just said to me and I am flabbergasted, and have no idea what to say, how to tell her that I like her back. So instead I just..

I kiss her, I kiss her back instead of thinking of anything because all I want to do is be with her, ever since we started the group and both of us got close, I have liked her.

I feel her lean into the kiss and we stay there for a minute, and then I eventually pull away. "I don't know if it's obvious at this point" I say in a sarcastic manner. "but I like you too." when these words come out of my mouth I see her face getting even redder and I smile.

I stand up and offer her my hand. "need a hand?" She takes my hand and I pull her up and hug her tightly. I whisper in her ear while hugging her. "I know we said we liked each other but we never said anything about dating, so will you be my girlfriend?" I see her face light up and I smile "omg! yes, yes for sure!" she grabbed by waist and hugged me tighter and we stayed like that for a moment and kissed once again although this time, it was just a light peck on the lips.

After all that we met back up with the group and told them how we went on the swing set and hung out for a bit.

Me and Taylor had never established if we were going to tell the group just yet or not, so neither of us said anything and we just continued to talk with the group.

After about another hour and a half, we saw that it was 5:37 am, we all decided to pack up our stuff and leave back home.

During the car ride me and Taylor sat next to each other and we secretly held hands the whole time while she fell asleep on my shoulder.
