Pranks Before Breakfast

I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm.

Lauren still sound asleep. I swear that girl would still be sleeping even if a helicopter landed on her head.

I dragged myself out of my bed and made my way to the bathroom to get ready for the day.

After I finished up in the bathroom, I went back to the room and crouched down next to Lauren's bed in an attempt to wake her up.

"Laaaauuuurrrreen" I said in a sing-song voice.

Lauren just groaned and stuffed her head further into the pillow.

" Lauren, I swear. If you don't get out of bed in the next ten fucking minutes, I will go downstairs and get a bucket of ice water and pour it on your dumbass"

"You wouldn't dare" Lauren says, lifting her head to look at me.

"Try me, motherfucker." I said, before dashing out the door, closing it behind me.

I got to the end of the hall where the elevator and staircase were and stopped to catch my breath.

I heard a door slam followed by fast approaching footsteps. And at this point I knew I had to pick up my pace as Lauren is rapid.

I opted to take the staircase instead of the elevator as I most likely did not have enough time to wait for it.

As I was running down the stairs, I bumped into my captain, Leah Williamson, and one of my best friends, Georgia Stanway.

"Someone's in a rush" Leah said.

"Yeah, can't stay for a chat girls. Got an angry Hempo to run away from. See ya, Leah. Catch ya later, Stanners" I said before starting up my run again.

I could hear Leah and Georgia's light giggles as I entered the cafeteria.

I grabbed breakfast for myself and Lauren before finding a table to sit at.

I was sitting at a table with Lucy, Keira, Ellen and Jill, scrolling mindlessly through my phone until I heard the cafeteria doors open.

In the doorway, stood a very messy looking Lauren Hemp. And she was heading straight for my table.

"Ooh, someone's in trouble" Lucy said in a teasing tone before getting a slap on her arm from her girlfriend who was sitting next to her.

When Lauren got to our table, I pulled out a chair and gestured for her to take a seat.

"You seriously woke me up and made me run through the entire hotel just to get me breakfast?" Lauren said as I sat back down.

"It got you out of bed though, innit"

"Whatever man. I'm gonna go get ready" Lauren said before turning around and walking away.

"I swear, one day, she's not gonna put up with you anymore" Alessia, one of my best friends said while we walked to the physio room together, with my arm slung across her shoulders.

I walked into the physio room, with Lessi still clinging by my side. I made eye contact with my brother, who smirked at me.

I sat down on the table next to him so he could tape up my knee. Lessi pulled a chair closer to the table so she could sit down as well.

It's no secret to anyone that I have a crush on the blonde. It was honesty so apparent that even the fans started to notice and pick up on my stupid, little crush. It really seems like the only person in the dark was the blonde herself.

"Jae?" Lessi spoke as my brother began prepping my knee.

"Yeah" I replied while scrolling absent mindedly on my phone.

"Are you filming today?"

"Uhh, yeah. I think that I might be doing something with Leah and G and maybe some with Lauren, but I'm not too sure. How 'bout you? I'm sure you got some stuff planed with Tooney, yeah?"

"Of course. No questions about that. But other than that I'm also not too sure."

"Alright" my brother began. "You're all set. Don't push too hard and please tell-"

"You if any thing feels unusual." I said cutting my brother off. "I know, I know. You don't have to worry about me JD"

My eldest brother, Jason, is the head of the physio department in the Lionesses team.

It's a running joke across the team that the whole reason he's in this position is because of me.

You see, Jason was in the middle of his law degree when he decided to change it to sports health & physiology because of the ACL crisis in women's sports. Me being one of those who were affected by it.

And now he specializes in ACL injuries in women and the entire recovery process that follows. Even after we're back on the pitch he still works tirelessly with us as he wants to make sure it doesn't happen again.

It wasn't long after he graduated that he was offered a spot on the Lionesses physio team.

"I'm gonna go and chat with Mary, I'll see you in the locker room, yeah?" Lessi said before heading out the room.

"So... When are you gonna tell her?"
