"So, Y/N... Truth or Dare?"

Lexi can be brutal with her dares, so you decide to play it safe. "Truth."

She claps her hands in delight. "Oh, I was so hoping you'd pick that. What is going on between you and the two new guys?"

Tanya leans in and nods. "Oh my god, yes, tell us! The people wanna know."

"What do you mean?" you ask in an innocent tone.

"See, I told you she's not into them," Kyle interjects, rolling his eyes at Lexi.

Wait, have they been talking about you and your new roommates when you weren't there? This is making you nervous. It's not like you can tell them the truth—that the three of you are living together. Then you'd have to explain why, or they'd just assume even more lewd things than they already are.

Besides, you aren't even sure yourself what's happening between you, Ash, and Cody. They both have expressed interest in you, but they couldn't possibly be serious about it...right? You're not looking for a simple hookup, but you don't know whether either of them is the commitment type. They're intense, for sure, but you're not sure how to interpret their shifter behavior. For all you know, it might be totally normal for shifters to act all touchy and intimate and over-protective about people they see as friends and nothing more.

You're also worried that if you choose to pursue just one of them, you'll lose the other's friendship. Your heart wouldn't be able to handle losing one of them at this point. Cody doesn't seem to mind too much when Ash touches you, and vice versa...but you can't just start dating them both. That would be...crazy. Even if a voice coming straight from your heart tells you that that's what you truly want.

Lexi waves her hand dismissively at Kyle. "Oh, please. We've all seen the way they both look at you. You three make the room heat up whenever you're together. That's pure sexual tension."

She and Tommy lean in close and start making mock sexy eyes at each other. Tommy glares at the group and in a terrible imitation of Ash's voice, he growls out, "Stay away from Y/N, she's mine!"

Lexi puts a hand over her heart and pretends to swoon into him. "Oh Ash, oh Cody!" Everyone laughs, except for you and Kyle.

You cross your arms and glare at them both, for real. "That's not funny."

"Just illustrating a point," she says, sitting back up. "So, what's the deal you three? Have you picked one? Are they fighting over you? Man, I love a good dramatic love triangle." She gasps. "Oh, oh, oh, are they sharing you?"

"That's none of your business."

"You picked Truth, so technically, anything about you can be my business now."

"Fine," you snap. "I'll just drink for my turn."

You grab your solo cup and toss back the whole drink in one go. It burns on the way down, leaving you coughing.

When you look up, you see the entire group staring at you, open-mouthed. Damn it, you should have just lied. You usually don't drink much. By chugging to avoid the question, you've only made your friends suspect that you're hiding something big.

"Oooooooookay," Tanya says with raised brows. "Your turn to spin the bottle."

To your relief, the group settles down and stops staring at you as you start to get into the game. You dare Kyle and Vincent to swap clothes, Vincent asks Keahi about their sex life, Keahi dares Tommy to eat some grass, and Tommy dares Lexi to jump in the lake naked. You play a few more rounds, until the stars are all out and the moon is high in the sky.
