Tanner's POV
The next time she ever brings up my parents and brother up again like it's no big deal, I'll kill her. Who does she think she is, just talking about it so casually, death is not casual. "Tanner, it's time to eat," I heard her say. I have to admit, she's not that bad looking. She was looking at the ground at the moment, but you could tell she felt bad about how she brought the death subject up so casually, which she should. "I'm not eating," I don't eat it's simple, "Tanner, you have to eat, it's unhuman to go without eating like you do." "So what, it's not like it's any of your business." She slammed the door, and I felt kind of bad about snapping at her. I finally decided I'd head down stairs, and what do you know, Elizabeth and Cassidey are fighting. "Why don't you care about him?! He's you're damn son for christ sake?" I could tell Cassidey was more pissed than I've ever seen her, "I don't know why I adopted him, I thought he'd be sweet and talkative, and with not so many problems!" Elizabeth said. What a great mom. "Elizabeth, you've got to be kidding me, the guy watched his whole family get slaughtered in front of him! What did you expect, for him to be all 'Hey, I'm perfectly fine that my family got killed infront of me, and I promise to not be traumitized or depressed or sad about it my whole life'? Did you expect him to be like that?? Man, you're freaking twisted." I could see her about to turn around and walk away, but just before, she turned back around and said "And by the way, I think he's perfect just the way he is,"
A/N I know it's short, but I thought this was a perfect ending to the chapter! I'll probably update again tonight because I have to stay up til 3. Again, I love you my little Watt Unicorns
