The blue planet froze as he watched his beloved moon leave. Triton. "Triton!" The other moons call out, worried for their brother. Neptune didn't know what to do. He couldn't help his gravity being so strong. He couldn't stop himself from trapping the dwarf planet in his orbit. One by one, his moons either leave him out of fear, or chase after their brother. What were they supposed to do, they were just kids. They didn't understand. "Proteus. Take care of your siblings till your brother comes back." Neptune orders, before running back into the Kuiper belt, seeking some privacy.

The liquid planet seems to be more liquid than normal, tears flowing down his blue face. It was all his fault. If he had been more careful, he wouldn't have trapped Triton. He'd still be free. He'd still be a dwarf planet, and he'd be happy. The celestial had ruined the poor moon's life. Triton was right. He still remembers that day perfectly. He was happy that day, he had a new friend in his lonely orbit. But Triton was horrified. He had lost his freedom, just because of an unstable planet. It was all his fault. And everyone leaves him because of it. Nobody stays. No wonder, It's not like anyone would like a weirdo like him.

Everyone would be better off without him, wouldn't they? I mean, it's not like they acknowledged him. He's only spoken to Uranus and a tiny bit to Saturn ever since he came back. The others never really cares. He was a mistake, a freak, an asshole who doesn't let others live their lives. He was better off dead.

He was sobbing so much now, but was incredibly silent. This obviously wasn't the first time he's had a mental breakdown. He was so weak, honestly he was an unnecessary burden on the solar system. If he just killed himself, everyone would be happy. It's not like they would notice. Perhaps Sun would, but he doesn't care about the Jovians. He's too busy with the precious rocky planets. Such babies, always in the spotlight and letting the Jovians struggle. Honestly, they would probably be happier without him, one less person taking the spotlight.

His eyes land on a nearby asteroid, it was sharp, but would it be sharp enough? He grabs it, intending to try it on his skin first, to see if it could do the job. He rolls up his sleeve and takes his gloves off, his pale blue skin (true colour) visible underneath. He hated it. He always wanted a prettier colour, like the dark blue that the earthlings thought he had, or brown like Saturn. Why blue? It wasn't even a pretty blue. He takes the sharp asteroid, and tries to cut his skin. A surge of pain shoots through his body, golden blood pouring out of the cut. The asteroid worked. The pain he felt was extreme, but for some reason it felt comforting. He cuts his skin again and again, his tears becoming heavier, yet he felt happy. As if he deserved it. He could barely feel his hands anymore. They were so disfigured, that it was a wonder he wasn't screaming in pain. He finally decides to finish the job, lifting the asteroid to his neck.

He opens his eyes, intending to be in the afterlife, but instead, he sees another planet, a familiar one. A ringed planet was holding his hand, not allowing him to sever his throat.

"S-Saturn?" Neptune stutters, his breathing unstable. His core was probably going faster than his winds, speaking of which, they were going faster than ever due to his unstable emotions.

"Shhh...calm down" Saturn whispers, prying the asteroid from a reluctant Neptune's hands. Saturn chucks it away, before grabbing Neptune and hugging him tightly. Neptune's body stiffened up, before melting into the embrace, crying into Saturn's chest, his golden tears staining Saturn's shirt. Whatever, he didn't care. All he cared about was his friend. And right now, his friend needed comfort, and that was exactly what he was going to give him. Saturn rubs soft circles onto the smaller blue planet's back, whispering words of comfort and reassurance. And this seems to help, because slowly, Neptune seems to calm down, still clinging onto Saturn tightly. Saturn smiles, taking the younger planets arm, frowning slightly at how much it was mutilated. Saturn always had medical supplies on him, so he takes a couple antiseptic wipes, and bandages. He cleans out the wound, Neptune didn't even wince at the burning sensation, he just looked away guilty. Saturn bandages his arm up, and picks Neptune upright, making him stand up. Neptune immediately leans back onto the motherly planet, who smiles.

"...Neptune, darling, why..?" He asks, a bit worried. Neptune had never done anything like this before. The blue planet doesn't reply, and Saturn decides to not push too much. He holds Neptune tighter, small tears leaving his own eyes, yet he wouldn't allow anyone to see. They stood there, together, reminding Neptune that others did care. That Saturn did care. That he wasn't alone. And he never would be.
