"Dammit!" Yelled a voice, mangled and forced, seemingly starting and stopping as the word consistently echoed through the barren lands around. The unseen figure was damaged, not merely injured, holding their arm as they shook off ice, dust and.. Sand?

The figure took a handful into their gloved hand, creating a blue flame that danced a story of hardship and distrust, echoing laughter and sobs seeming to replace the crackling of this flame with a soul.
The hooded entity scoffed and crushed the sand, turning it from brown to a black and white shard of glass. As they looked around they stood, studying the surroundings.

"The portal sent me here... interesting.. but the question is where IS here?" The voice, becoming more grounded and coherent. The deep gravelly voice, a stark contrast to whom the voice originally came from. "It is no mirror to the overworld, so no world of happiness and happiness. There isn't even any greenery or-"

As they were about to say life, a stomping could be heard in the distance, a sudden chill running down their spine. Something was coming. Something big, something mad and something probably hungry. Whatever it was, the figure knew there was no chance they'd survive the encounter.
Suddenly fueled by adrenaline, the first time they felt true fear, the entity hidden by a mask made of anguish and sorrow ran, feeling the threads that weave the powers they wield having been frayed from whatever dimension or universe this place was. Or perhaps it was the form he had taken before his banishment..?
The hooded figure ran until the hood flew off, revealing a dark blue and black head and set of hair, with purple scars and small bouts of purple lightning still crackling. The explosion... the meteor... the black hole... the dragon and the knight.. It wasn't a dream.

"Dammit!" Void yelled, the distortion in his voice gone, almost sounding like.. Sven. Wait.. no, that WAS Sven. His left arm felt like it was on fire, dislocated and broken from the fight, but he raised it, the glove receding as the darkness flickered from his soul for a moment. "What did I do? WHAT DID YOU FUCKING DO?!" He screamed.
"What I HAD to, what YOU were too SCARED to do! You want them to be safe from the curses that plague your world? You must give up everything if you WANT everything." A voice in his head spoke, Void only receding to seemingly speak to itself... no there was another..
"Where the hell did you take us?" Sven asked, his voice breaking as the darkness receded completely into his body and soul, repairing the damages done and to grow into what it was before.
"I took us from that damned prison, that endless fight." Void responded, making a projection of himself that Sven could talk to.

"You couldn't pick anywhere more welcoming?" Sven said, standing up straight and spitting blood at Void's feet... were those even feet?
"I didn't exactly PICK it. That damned being that communes with the nexus did, I merely let us find refuge and recuperate and let our strength return." Void spat back, the words playing more like a radio with a feedback loop in Sven's mind.
Sven bent down, grabbing the first stone he could get his hands on and threw it at the projection, the stone passing through it and hitting something metal. Wait.. metal? Sven focused and walked forward, pushing Void aside despite the protests and crouched down, grabbing a metal trap door and heaving it open, nearly tearing it off its rusted hinges in the process.

"Curious.." Void uttered, "perhaps there ARE others here. Maybe we can use them to-"
Sven didn't wait for Void to finish his comment, jumping into the hole, not trusting the ladder which was a few grams of water from turning to dust. As his feet hit the ground, he walked forward, calling on the darkness for flame. Venturing into the bunker, he noticed a surprisingly intact forge, molten iron flowing around. But it wasn't iron, that was steel, with an odd connection to the darkness it seemed. Void took an instant interest in the material, urging Sven to use the forge, to use the skills he learned about forging weapons from molten metal from Brindr. Sven detested before he heard a shriek from the surface.
After hearing the shrill noise, Sven became distracted for just long enough, allowing the darkness to engulf him again, Void finally regaining control. As Sven screamed from within the body, Void shut him out, locking him in a cage unbreakable by Sven's fractured mental state.

"Fine, I'll do it myself.." Void muttered, a wicked smile creeping across his face. He grabbed a portion of the wall, tearing it out, using the darkness to shape and strengthen the concrete, reforming its molecules into that of a diamond like material that he could use as the handle for his new weapon.
"I will not make the same mistake..." he said, his voice breaking with excitement, scattering as the emptiness of the chamber made his voice distort from the echoes, "I WILL KILL EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU FREAKS!" As he screamed, tendrils of darkness grew from his back, piercing the walls and ceiling, breaking through to the surface as a signal to those who would see that this void was now his for the taking, inviting anyone or anything that opposed him to challenge him to the throne.
