Chapter 1 - Welcome to Hogwarts

It's my Eleventh birthday and Im hyped I get my butt off the bed and hurry downstairs awaiting my Hogwarts letter.

I saw mum preparing breakfast 'Pancakes!' I exclaim happily digging into them. I hear the doorbell ring and run to check it out since mum was a bit busy . I open the door and see Mattheo , a friend of mine , holding out a rose and a box of chocolates a light blush on his cheeks 'Happy Birthday YN' he says .

Now a little history about us his parents were... mean to say the least . So he spends most of his time with us . We're both purebloods so our families know each other well and don't seem to mind Mattheo hanging with me . We meet in a fancy ball and we're friend for story time over .

'Aww You didn't have to get me anything knuckle head' I say 'well in that case I'm eating the chocolates' he teases . 'Nope mine' I quickly snatch the chocolates from his hand 'calm Down stupid ' he says 'thanks any way ' I say

'So... can I come in ?' He asked 'No , Your staying outside' I say sarcastically 'really ' he asks 'no idiot get in' I roll my eyes

'You got something to eat ?' He asks 'Yea mum made pancakes' I reply He completely forgets me and rushes to the kitchen I chuckle (A/n I can't giggle no clue why ) He says a quick hi to mum and proceeded to eat MY pancakes

"Hey those are mine." I exclaim but I was too late he ate them all "You owe me them now" I mumble grumpily As Mattheo enjoys HIS food (note the sarcasm) an owl flies in and drops a letter .

"The Howarts emblem" I say in awe as I eye the crest on the letter Mattheo walks up behind me checking it out.

"Dear Y/n L/n , We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at hog warts school for witchcraft and wizardry please find enclosed the list of books and equipment necessary books and items blah blah blah" I read out "Kay paper received moving on" I say "why did I expect that" Mattheo mumbles "I can hear you!" I exclaim "I know" he says back

"You guys should know the rest" finishes a 14 year old Y/n to her friends in the slytherin common room

A/n : I'm writing for the first time I usually only write for my friends but they wanted me to publish Hope u enjoyed
