Jason's P.O.V

Jessica has got back to her house to continue her next semester. Machaela has been accompanyin Madeline for few weeks already. Madeline is recovering from her sadness. Machaela did her very best to make madeline happy. the office work is now handled by Serafine. Thank god.

I got ready for office and went down to make breakfast. Machaela is there serving breakfast. I was shocked. "morning daddy" Madeline greeted me and kisses my cheeks. " Mavhy did all this!" she seems happy. 'thanks Machaela. oh and from now on you'll be working as my Personal assistance of taking care of my personal schedule and Madeline. You'll not be working for the office anymore." she nodded after I have explained to her. We didn't really talk much after she was admitted a year ago.

After I had my breakfast, I grab my keys, send Madeline to school and went straight to the office.

Machaela's P.O.V

It has been few weeks I took care of madeline. It is fun being with her. But I still didn't talk much with Mr McCann since the day I passed out. I still went through the memory box again. I called Logan he still didn't want to explain. He will just give reasons of him busy.

After I had clean up the dishes, I went home fro awhile and packed some of my stuff for the day. Just a spare dress and trench coat will do. I look at the clock and it is 12. I grab my keys and rush to Madeline's school. As I arrived, I saw Madeline running towards handing me a piece of card. I look at the card and it stated there ' Happy Mothers Day'. " who is this for?" She smiled and hugged me while saying " For you. Mommy said you are like my mother" I smiled and I can feel tears on my cheeks. "Don't cry." She wipes my tear. " I am just touched" She hold my hand and we walked to the car and grab lunch together.

It was a nice afternoon till Madeline told me she wants to go to her daddy's office to ask for permission." Machy, can we go to daddy's office right now? I want to ask him something. " I nodded my head as a yes. We drove to the McCann's and as we arrived Madeline told me to wait with Serafine and she go to her daddy's office. "So I can see that Madeline really treat you like her own mommy." Serafine smirks. "Nah. We love each other. She is a sweet girl. So does her mom. They are very kind. " I explains. " what about Mr McCann?" she asked me while smiling. "serafine! please don't ask me that!" I drags her. She often asked me whether I remembered anything about Mr McCann because she is the only one who knows the reason why I fainted a year ago. and she is also the only one who knows about my memory boxes. "please answer me come on. " she knows me well. "fine then. Mr McCann he is responsible and a loving dad. but he is firm very firm I mean. He.." our conversation was cut off when Serafine got a call from Mr McCann's office telling her to ask me to come in his office right away.

"Machaela, Mr McCann wants to see you now in his office." Serafine looks at me. My hands began to shiver. I walked to Mr McCann's office, knocked at the door and Madeline open the door for me. "yes Mr McCann is there anything.. " I was cut off again. " Madeline wants to come over to our place for a sleep over. Are you okay with that?" I look at Madeline and she give me her cute puppy eyes. "Yes Mr McCann I can. " she look at her dad again " but daddy, we are going to Canada next week. Can Machy come along? Pleeeeeease. I love you daddy." she hugs Mr McCann. "are you okay with that Machaela?" he looks at me then to his little princess again who is still hugging him with puppy eyes again. " mmm.... I...I.. I mean.. y-y-yes" Madeline ran to me and huh me tightly. "Thank you Machy! oh! and thank you daddy. Let us go and get your stuff for tonight Machy" after saying goodbye to Mr McCann we then drove to my house and grab some of my stuff.
