New domino city is something else. It's really cool. I mean, I would break into the banks in new Domino, but that was during the night and I didn't have time for sightseeing. Now, that I have a deck and am Legally going into the city, it's pretty awesome. Huge buildings, clean roads, people that won't try to mug you, all of it.
Y/N: This is New Domino city? It's amazing. Nothing like the satellite.
Lazar: Of course! This place is much, much, better than that trash heap.
Erebus(telepathically): He dare insult our home!?
Y/N (in his head): don't let it get under your skin. He's rich and has a lot of power, so he has that kind of attitude. Don't let him get to you
Erebus: but he dare-
Lazar: As I was saying, you'll be staying in a small hotel with the other contestants that are participating in the competition.
Y/N: Okay, cool. Nice. So, when do we arrive.
Lazar: in a little while, in the meantime, look through your deck, you'll need to be at best capability when the tournament starts
Y/N: right.
I look through my deck, looking at all of the cards. What surprises me is how retro this deck seems. But it has power. I see Erebus, eidos, and all of the others, when I stop on one in particular

Caius(telepathically): Bout time you woke me up!

Y/N (Telepathically): hold up, I thought that Erebus was the only one who could talk.
(A/N: just assume that when each monarch is talking, they are doing it telepathically, I'm too lazy to say it every time. I will let yall know when it changes)
Caius: Please, like Erebus is the only one who gets all of the spotlight. He didn't tell you my role, did he?
Y/N: um, no.
Caius: I serve as your ace in the whole, your signature card, your right hand man.
Y/N: Hold up, I thought that was Erebus
Caius: Erebus is your trump card, your card if all else fails, but I am your card you will turn to most, the one that will become your greatest companion
Y/N: okay, that's pretty cool. You think you can hold your own on the field
Caius: I will take down every monster that comes my way!!
Y/N: Okay, you seem motivated
Lazar(cuts in): Y/N, we have arrived. Please follow me.
Finally! I'm pretty excited to do this. Kinda nervous as well, but I finally get to duel for a chance to make my life better. Guess it's time to meet the others
