As they reached the house, a hush fell over them, broken only by the soft strains of a lofty melody playing on the car radio. An unspoken agreement passed between them, and no words were exchanged. Mia's heart was heavy, and tears threatened to spill from her eyes, but she remained strong, not wanting to let Sasha see her pain.
Sasha- Thank you, Adi, for being with us till now... (sigh) and sorry for this mess u witnessed (guilty)
Adik- no no no, it's ok, and as a friend, I have full rights to be with you in any condition don't worry (smiles)
Sasha- (sad smiles) thanky--
Adik- don't, don't thank me, as I said I must be with u as a good friend, don't u see me as a friend? (Curious)
Sasha- it's not like that p, I see u as a good friend but-
Adik- no buts, go and take a rest, u must be tired and tomorrow is your college also.
As they turned their heads to look at the back seat, they noticed that Mia had dozed off. She was slumped against the seat with her head resting on the cushioned side of the car door.
Adik- see Mia is asleep [should I tell her!?].
Sasha- hmm... she is (sigh)
She looks at Adik as he is in deep thought.
Sasha- Adi... ( no response) ... adi!!
Adik- huh?
Sasha- what are u thinking?
Adik- nothing.
Sasha- oh OK ... so we'll go now
Adik- ahh yes ok (a little embarrassed) (rubbing his nape)
Sasha smiled at his behaviour.
She woke Mia up then they entered their house.
After a few days, with the same routine as Sasha and mia father, Sasha and Mia go there workplaces
After they were all gone, Sasha and mia mom, Ariana was at home.
Someone knock the door
As Ariana opened the door,
Mrs Ariana- ohh Mrs Jennifer, you here?!!
Mrs Jennifer- why! Can't I? (Raised eyebrows)
Mrs Ariana- When did I say that? You know you're always welcome! (Smiles)
Mrs Jennifer- (smiles) Haha I was just joking Mrs Ariana, now u gonna talk everything outside huh?
Mrs Ariana- oh no!! I'm so sorry, come inside, please
After they are seated, have some talks about each other and their families and some gossip,
Mrs Jennifer- hahaha Mrs Ariana, you are so funny
Mrs Ariana- (breath heavily because of laugh) I'm aren't lying about her, she's a total bitch when it comes to having a sale In a market
Hahaha
Mrs Jennifer- yaa I saw that too a few days ago, I was so shocked (laughing)
They have fun while having a soft drink and some snacks
Mrs Jennifer- by the way, Mrs Ariana-
Mrs Ariana- no not Mrs Ariana, only Ariana as we become friends now. (Smiles)
Mrs Jennifer- yeah you should call me Jennifer too... Anyway, I was here to tell you that after a few days, we gonna go back to London as our work here is completed so... (feel a little sad)
Mrs Ariana- ohh (sad)... that's not good at all, how can u go like that, u just came and got settled, we just became friends... ok forget about us but our children... they are friends... how can you?
Mrs Jennifer- "Relax, Ariana. It's only my husband and I who are leaving. Adik will stay here, and I want you to take care of him as if he were your child. That's why I came to talk to you about this and our friendship, I will call you often to ask about Adik, and I'll also ask about the lady that what she's been up to. (laughs)"
Mrs Ariana- (laughs) Right, Okay, that's good. I promise to take good care of Adik after you leave, so don't worry. (Smiles)
Mrs Jennifer- that's great (smiles)
They talk more and more before their children and husbands come from their respective places
In Adik House,
Adik- I'm home!
Mrs Jennifer- welcome home Adi, how's the day (smiles)
Adik- just like every day ... boring (sits on the couch and rests himself)
Mrs Jennifer- ohh why? didn't you make friends huh?
Adik- I have friends but... they are not fun mom ( irritated)
Mrs Jennifer- hmm... so it's like that, try to find some solution like do some interesting and productive work which will be helpful for you to not get bored (smiles)(massage his nape)
Adik- ah mom... yaa you are right... massage to the left side, please
Mrs Jennifer- of course, darling ... BTW I have talked to Mrs Ariana to take care of you when we leave.
Adik- Mom I'm not a kid, I can take care of myself
Mrs Jennifer- you are still a kid to me and no excuses, whatever u need ask her okay?
Adik- OK fine Mom!!
Mrs Jennifer- that's my boy (smiles)
