"Grandson, heed my warning, there are reasons why that road is forbidden for your age," my grandfather, Julius Ash, told me when I wanted to enter the Foggy street that was joined to ours.

No one ever enters it, well not anyone below the age of 21 anyway. Rumours have it, that anyone that enters the street under the age of 21, will never be heard of, and there was someone under that age in there. An example used to warn the rest of us never to enter.

I, of course, didn't believe it, because it made no sense. A street without an end, but the fog was strange for me though, I didn't understand why it was there. My house is right next to the street, so I see it everyday, I also watch a bunch 23 year olds who don't know how to grow up go in there. All of them would either be high, drunk or incredibly stupid to believe that dumb story because come out looking a little scared but I don't believe a single word out their mouths.

"Thomas, dude, you have to believe me, there are real life demons living in that fog, I am lucky to have made it with my life, but it's real, all the stories," the oldest in our friend group, Jasper, proclaimed, since he recently turned 21, and by recently, I mean three days ago, said after his 'life changing' experience in the dumb street.

Our friend group consist of 6 members, there's me, Thomas Ash, Wednesday Doodles, one of two girls in our group, and the smart one of course. Dora Martinez and then there is her twin brother Dario Martinez, they are both kind of firecrackers, always so full of life, but they are quite naïve, believing every little thing you tell them.

Then their is the youngest one of us all, by 2 years to be precise, Landon Murray. He is something else entirely, always negative and has this weird thing about rules. Very much a push over for older kids, so we took him and keep him safe, although he can be pain with all his complaining and how he always knows we'll be in trouble, but we think he is a snitch.

Me, Dora, Dario and Wednesday are all 18 though, but we don't know where we wanna go, Jasper is already studying at the local college so we don't see him. And of course on his once a month trip back he had to go to Foggy street, and see if it was real, but knowing Jasper, his stupid college buddies probably just pranked him again. I honestly don't know how he got into a college at all.

"Really, that is soo cool, Jasper. But I have a question tho," Dora said like a 5 year old being told the story of the fog. Dora and Dario didn't grow up here like the rest of us, they moved here a few years ago. Apparently, running from gangsters who were after their father for money in Mexico. It seemed believable, so they became quite popular at first, but they are way too much of push overs to be taken seriously so they fit with us perfectly.

"Ask away, Dora, no need to be shy," Jasper answered and actually sounded quite mature seeing that it's Jasper. "Do you have a girlfriend at college, my older sister is still really into you and she wants to know," Dora said, unashamedly. And I can already here Daniella screaming at Dora and yanking her ear. We might not see her for a while if her sister finds out what she just said.

I looked at Jasper and his face looked really weird. Like he was disgusted at the thought of being with Daniella for some reason, normally his face would light up and he would say that he would love going on a date, then bail out of fear. "Woah dude, no need to make that face. What, mister Scaredy cat doesn't like Daniella anymore," I jokingly said. "Shut up you little half wit. You don't know what your talking about," he spat at me. Everyone just stared at him and I felt knop in my throat from embarrassment.

"What is the matter with you? Ever since you came out of that fog, you have been different and I don't like it," Wednesday said as fury shook her body. I'm one of the few people who can calm her down when she's like this, me and Dario, of course. He held her hand to stop her from leaping up and destroying Jasper's perfect jock face.
