Aphmau's Angel

My Best Friend.(Aphmau's perspective).

Hi. My name is Aphmau. Some crazy stuff has happened the past few weeks. Me, and my best friend, Aaron have seen and done some pretty weird stuff, that I probably shouldn't say..but I'm going to say it anyway. It all began on that Monday.

"Ha! Race you to school!" I yelled at my friend, Katelyn.

"OH Aph, Bring it on!!" She shouted back as she swiftly ran past me.

Katelyn and I were racing to High School. I was starting out in the lead, but she was faster than a cheetah!

"That's totally not fair," I complained. "You're athletic! You have training!" I had forgotten Katelyn did a lot of sports.....so she was very fast.

"Don't be a sore loser, Aphmau! Maybe if you would come to my workout sessions you'd have a chance at winning!" She lectured as I rolled my eyes.

"Hmph."

With a new burst of determination, I picked up the pace to try and at least get closer to her. Nobody wanted to lose to Katelyn, especially not me. Suddenly when I thrusted forward I bumped into something..or somebody. I couldn't tell who, but it had definitely felt like a person as I lost my footing and tumbled back.

"Ack!" I groaned.

The sun glared in my eyes as the stranger saved me from the fall with a hand around my waist.

"Hey Aphhh~ You've gotta do better than-'' Katelyn's voice trailed off as I heard her stop. Her voice changed into a menacing tone as she hissed, "You...."

"Katelyn? Why are you..." I rubbed my eyes as I saw the face of my savior, realizing it was my friend... Aaron! "Aaron!" I jumped up and wrung my arms around my neck to hug him. Aaron and I have known each other since middle school, it was amazing to catch him here because he's usually so early.

"Aaron....." Katelyn mumbled to herself and something else unaudiable.

Aaron laughed. "Easy Aphmau. We texted each other yesterday." He tapped my nose as I pulled back to meet his eyes. They seemed to sparkle a faint red glow in his dark black pools.

"I needed to thank you properly for saving me!" I giggled when I let go.

"Hey guys!" A familiar tone shouted from behind. I whipped my head around as smoke clouded my vision. Aaron coughed behind me as I waved it away.

The smoke disappeared, revealing Lucinda and Kawaii~Chan.
