In the bustling halls of Seoul High, amidst the cacophony of chattering students, a sigh was heard through Haechan's ears, a lanky teenager with a mischievous glint in his eyes. The sigh was not his own, but that of his best friend, Renjun, a petite boy with a perpetual pout.
'You are sighing for the fifth time now. WTF is going on?' Haechan inquired, his voice laced with concern.
'Lee Haechan, we are still in class. Mind your language,' Renjun retorted, his voice barely above a whisper. 'And I don't want detention again like yesterday for speaking in class.'
Haechan rolled his eyes and reached into his backpack for his notepad, scribbling something on it before passing it to Renjun.
'Care to explain your unhappy expressions?'
he asked, communicating through writing to avoid further detention.
Renjun scribbled a response and placed his head on his hands, pouting. 'Today, Jeno is not in class. I definitely saw him today, so he skipped this class. And this is the only class we have with each other.'
Haechan shook his head in disbelief.
'Go on, enjoy your day being depressed,' he wrote back.
Renjun glared at Haechan, causing him to chuckle. They returned their attention to the class, but Renjun couldn't shake his pout.

The bell rang, signaling the end of class. Haechan and Renjun made their way to their lockers, where they were met by a tall and handsome boy with a warm smile.
'Hey haechanie hyung,' he greeted.
Renjun looked at the boy, his curiosity piqued. 'Do you know him?' Renjun asked.
'Yeah, my cousin,' Haechan replied.
'Oh, Jisung?' Renjun guessed.
'He talks about me?' Jisung asked, surprised.
'Ahhmm,' Haechan cleared his throat. 'Obviously because I only have one fucking cousin, duh.'
'Oh, yeah, that's true,' Jisung said, realizing.
'I'm guessing you are Renjun then,' Jisung said.
'Yep, that's me,' Renjun replied.
'Why are you here, though?' Haechan asked.
'Oh ya, what was I here for?' Jisung questioned himself. 'Oh ya, didn't you say your dorm has one vacant room? Is it still available?'
'Yah, why?' Haechan asked.
'One of my friend's friend is going to be transferred here soon, and he doesn't want to live alone in a dorm, so maybe...'
'Yeah, sure,' Haechan agreed. 'At least I get a new friend other than Haechan. He's boring nowadays,' Renjun said.
'Yah, Huang Renjun,' Haechan shouted.
'That's it then,' Jisung said before leaving them both. 'I will contact you when he reaches here.

As they reached their room, Renjun couldn't help but notice the change in Haechan's demeanor. He had been distant and moody lately, and Renjun was determined to find out why.
'Hey, Haechan,' Renjun began, his voice laced with concern, 'what's with your bitchy attitude lately? Did your crush Mark reject you?' he asked, attempting to lighten the mood with a playful jab.
Haechan's eyes flickered with a hint of pain as he paused for a moment before replying, 'Well, you could say something like that.'
Renjun's heart skipped a beat. 'Huh? What do you mean?' he asked, his voice laced with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension.
Haechan hesitated, his gaze dropping to the floor. 'I heard Mark has a girlfriend now,' he whispered, his voice barely audible.
Renjun's eyes widened in surprise. 'That might just be some rumor,' he said, trying to reassure his friend. 'Don't jump to conclusions.'
But Haechan shook his head, a sadness in his eyes. 'No, it's not just a rumor. I walked into them making out in an empty room...'
Renjun's heart ached for his friend. He knew how much Haechan had admired Mark, and the thought of him being with someone else was devastating.
'I'm so sorry, Haechan,' Renjun said, placing a comforting hand on his friend's shoulder. 'But remember, there are plenty of other fish in the sea. You'll find someone who truly appreciates you.'
Haechan nodded, but his eyes remained downcast. 'I know, but it still hurts.'
Renjun pulled Haechan into a tight hug, offering the comfort and support of a true friend. 'I'm here for you, no matter what,' he whispered
