It's morning and as I wake up I finding myself daydreaming again of Cole winters. This has been happening to me a lot lately and I don't know why we're friends and that's what it has to be. I walk downstairs heading to the kitchen as my feet hit the icy cold floor I see my parents. Of course doing there usual making out all over the island counter. I pretend to throw up. "Hey we eat up there" I exclaimed.
"Well I will see you guys later!" Mom yelled from the door frame. My dad throws a bowl of grapes in front of me.
"Eat up sport" he seemed to be in a good mood. I finish the grape and put the bowl in the dishwasher. I grab my book bag and phone as I run out the door.
As in walk to school my best friends come and jump on my back like packs of monkeys."Hey Ray" Cole said. Coles one of the best friends he's so
"Hi" I said nervously.
"Hey me and James are hanging out after school you guys can come if you'd like" Chloe exclaimed. Her and James have been dating for almost two years but it doesn't seem like their dating when we're all together it's like there best friends.
Once school was over I got a text from Cole saying to meet him out at the main door. I wait patiently . He comes my way "Hey I wanted to ask you" someone cut him off
"Hey Cole" Morgan Max yelled.
"So what were you going to ask me?" I asked Cole.
" Oh I just wanted to know .... he paused. " If you can help me with my guitar I'm writing a new song . I want you to be the first hear my song but that won't be able to happen unless I get my guitar fixed." Cole explained
" Cole why would you play your song for Ray first when she could hear it second. You should let your own girlfriend be the first to hear it" Morgan said with no hesitation.
"Girlfriend" I felt tears begin to form. I ran. He ran as well. I tumbled over a rock creating scars on my knee. Cole catches up and grabbing my hand to help. I break away from his grasp. He slowly leans in and kisses my lips .I push him to the ground . I didn't feel bad that's what he deserved. I run and didn't look back.
