~ Heizou's POV ~

"You must be my partner correct?" I questioned the other boy named 'Scaramouche'.

"Right, nice to meet you." He replied, he voice was deep. It was as if he was a voice actor, remaining his cool while doing so.

"Right, we need to get you to the cafeteria. As you might've already known, it's currently breaktime right now. Apologies, because I couldn't reach you during the morning." I informed, my eyes focused on the dull scenery surrounding us.

"Lead the way then." He shrugged, his eyes closed for a moment before opening again.

"Right, as you can see. There are 4 different sectors of the canteen, mainly because the school wants to ensure satisfaction." I told him, the centre part which was where we were at was lit up brightly by the lights above.

"The first segment is your normal cafetria you see everywhere in other schools." I explained as we entered.

The walls were painted a pastel yellow, having it obviously made out of concrete. The floor was tiled, ignited by the lamps above.

The choices on the menu were quite vast but all the food managed to taste good everyday despite the overwhelming orders. On it there were fries, nuggets, burgers all the western food you can think of.

"Alright, swiftly moving on. Now, we have the cafe." I mentioned as we walked out of the court, our walking pace was quick because recess was about to be over soon.

As we entered, soothing melodies filled the silence of the room.

"This place is for people who just want to relax during their leisure time." I informed as I walked up to the barista who was wiping the counter.

"Should I get the usual for you?" The relaxed woman behind the counter asked me.

"Yeah, thanks Ms. Lisa." I thanked with a polite bow at the end while she left the counter to brew me some coffee.

The walls were that shade of brown that you'd get from a coffee bean this time around, there were some smooth and wavy patterns that were a milky yellow sort of colour.

"Heizou, your order's ready!" The barista yelled not too loudly at me for my order to be picked up, the smell of the coffee was strong enough the flow to my nose.

"Thanks again." I thanked and we waved goodbye and walked off.

The drink I ordered was just some coffee and milk mixed together and poured into a paper cup, it was dubbed the 'morning refresher' at our place.

"Ok, I wonder what the other 2 are gonna be." Scaramouche pondered as we walked to the entrance of the third one, clouds of steam smacked our faces as we entered.

It was empty inside, because noodles and dumplings aren't things that were meant to be eaten on mornings.

Also, this area is a little bit different. Due to the fact that it's steamy in here, air conditioners weren't effective so they turned it off to save electricity. Either way, it feels like a sauna in here.

"This is the place that people eat bread, noodles and pies at. Basically products that requires wheat to make." I informed the other guy, my words were becoming rushed.

"And the last destination is for deserts such as rice mochi, cupcakes and they even serve mooncakes during the festival." I blabbed on and on about this place.

He slowly nodded in response, we then began walking to other facilities.

~ Scara's POV ~

It's evening already, sounds of people playing basketball could be heard outside while me and Heizou sat on a bench to gaze at the stars. I didn't really have a choice because he dragged me along due to the fact that he has no friends, also he wants to be accompanied.

"Hey, my team needs back up. One person got injured so can you replace him?" A platinum boy suddenly walked up to us when I was drinking water.

"Alright, bet I'm gonna wipe the other team." I grinned while my blood vessels got pumped up.

Immediately, I noticed that the team I was on was a few points below.

As the coach blew the whistle, the opposing side got the ball and attempted to throw it to their other groupmates.

In the flash of an eye, I gripped on the projectile and tried to score a 2-pointer only for it to miss by a few centimeters.

The platinum haired boy hugged the ball and slammed it into the hoop, too bad it was only counted as 1 point.

The next round rolled around, with the time left being 10 minutes. Hurriedly, I held the sphere tightly and tossed it to my teamate.

He dribbled it to the other side of the field while the others were distracted on me and scored 2 points this time.

Looking at our statistics, the result wasn't dissapointing. It was 11:10.

"Thanks for helping me kind sir." The other boy thank as he reached out his hand for a handshake.

"The name's Kazuha by the way." He added while I reach my hand out.

"Name's Scaramouche, you can call me Scara." I replied while I walked back to the bench after the handshake.

"Ah, you're back. A shooting star is predicted to happen!" The other boy said with some glimmer in his eyes, his tone was suprisingly quiet despite being excited.

"Quick! Make a wish." He hurriedly suggested as he placed his hands together with his eyes closed.

'I wish for no one to abandon me in the near future.' I hoped.

I did what he told me to do and after I opened my eyes, there it was. A bright star, falling down from the starry night sky filled with other smaller stars.

Heizou sat there, swinging his legs while he looked fascinated. I wonder what his wish was...
