Broken

Chapter 3

[A/N: Sorry this is so short! I wanted to do something, but it came up to quickly.]

**Percy's POV**

I felt myself sit up, and lean away from Annabeth. The tears were already falling, and I couldn't stop them. Between Annabeth being here, and my nightmare being worse than ever, I had a feeling it would be a while before I quit crying.

"Hey, Perce... Relax. Your awake now.." Annabeth tried to calm me, speaking in a smooth, calm, relaxing voice.

Being extremely tired, I snapped at her. "Yeah. Awake. In the reality that you don't love me."

"Percy! Can I explain why, before you go dissing me again?!" I spoke a bit to harsh.

"F-Fine.."

"Percy, I broke up with you... Because I am a lesbian, and I'm dating Piper. I couldn't lie to you anymore."

"Oh..." My features grew into a frown, and I layed back down.

"You okay, Perce?"

"Yeah... Fine..."

"I really am sorry. We can still be friends, though."

"Uh.. Sure.."

I looked at her, as she smiled, and walked out of the room. I looked at Nico. His face was tugging at a smile.

"What are you so smiley about?" I asked.

"Oh.. I don't know.. I actually guessed one of Annabeth's motives correctly."

**Annabeth's POV**

I walked up to Piper, wrapping my arms gently around her waist, kissing her cheek lightly. She giggled and then blushed, turning toward me.

"We are in public, Miss Chase." She play scolded me. I leaned in again, this time kissing her lips.

"I know.. I don't care what they think." I said, my lips still connected to hers. She laughed, and then finally gave in, kissing back.

Some of Piper's siblings came over, snapping a picture of us. No doubt for their camp couples scrap book. I pulled away smiling, hugging Piper closer to me. She smiled at me, and then she leaned her head on my shoulder, looking up at me.

"So why are you so happy?" She asked.

I laughed. "Percy finally let me tell him why we broke up."

"How'd he take it?"

"Not as bad as I thought he would."

"Well. That's good."

I nodded. Nico came running out of the Poseidon cabin.

"I went to the bathroom, and when I came back out, Percy was gone."
