Songkran

Est stares at his phone, his finger hovering on the contact name sent by Joong, questioning himself if he’s gonna do it. It was nearly Songkran festival and Est didn’t want to go alone.

The man has asked Daou and Joong if they could accompany him but they both declined, saying that they made plans with their boyfriends already. Joong texted him personally after that, telling him that he should try asking William and sending him the younger contact.

Est took a breath before deciding to just wing it and text William after convincing himself that there’s nothing wrong with contacting the younger and nothing wrong if William decline.

Est texted a simple hello and introduction before waiting for the younger’s reply, which came pretty quickly. The younger greeted him back, asking him how he got his number and if there was anything the younger could do for him. Est candidly explained his plans, mentioning how Daou and Joong are unavailable since they’re going with their boyfriends and if William wants to go with him.

William was lazily lying in bed when an unknown number texted him, he furrowed his brows as he clicked the notification open and his face softened once he learned who texted him.

The younger can’t help but grin as he texts back and forth with Est and his heart quickens as he rereads the invitation from Est, he quickly replies that he’ll check the schedule before opening LYKN’s group chat.

William doesn’t think twice before spamming the group chat, tagging everyone there to ask if they have a free schedule around Songkran. The first one to reply was Lego, who complained about the spam.

Nut, being the oldest, replied next with their schedule telling William that they’ll have a schedule on the 16th. Tui appeared on the group chat after that, asking why is William asking about it.

William replied to Nut with thanks before going back to his text with Est telling him that he has scheduled on the 16th to which the older replied if it’s good for them to go on the 13th, to which William said yes too. Est then mentioned that he’d text him again soon for more details, and their conversation ended.

William pouts as he stares at his phone, he wants to text longer with Est but he doesn’t know what topic to bring up, so he sighs before he opens his group chat with the other LYKN members.

The group chat was suddenly active after he asked for the schedule, everyone seemed to be wondering why he was asking and if William was going with someone. Tui and Lego started making lots of ‘what ifs’ which turned into making up stories about what was going on.

William rolled his eyes before telling them to shut up or he wouldn’t tell them anything, the reply was instant, everyone telling him to spill the tea. William huffs before shaking his head at how eager the rest is to know what happened.

William ended up screenshotting his text messages with Est and sending them to the group chat to which the rest replied with an expression of realization but then Nut asked him why did he spam them just for this.

Hong agrees with Nut’s response before asking William candidly if he has a crush on Est, which makes Lego and Tui go crazy on the group chat, asking him if it’s true and to spill everything to them.

William does end up explaining everything to them, how he has always found Est charming and met him for the very first time not long ago during the Bruno Mars concert that they attended with Daou, Offroad, and Joong.

After William explained everything, the rest responded with how they supported him and made him promise to keep them updated on his relationship with Est. William can’t help but feel himself blush. It’s just a crush, they’re imagining too far if they’ll think we’re gonna date.
