I groaned as we waited outside the GYM. "Why do we have to go inside? It's already hot out here." Jodie, the only friend I have, commented as she wiped her neck. "Tell me about it." People around us talked loudly then we heard a loud screaming inside. I've watched enough horror or zombie movies what this is or maybe I'm just paranoid. "Everything is fine, we just need everyone to go ou-AHHHHH!" I immediately grabbed Jodie's hand and dragged her away. How the heck did it happen? I got into my truck as I waited for Jodie to get in but she got jumped on, I quickly got off and pushed the girl off her. The girl had blood on her and her eyes were white. "That bitch bit me. Let's go." She said and I didn't mind her bite. I started the engine and drove away from the school. We saw people, students, like us, running away. "How did you know how to react?" She asked as I gulped, breathing deep as she is.
"You know me. I watch stuff like that." She sighed, looking at her bleeding bite on her arm. I looked back at the road. "We need to go to my house and we're going to make sure about everything, I mean, EVERYTHING." I told her. "How do- "With screams like that? There is no way it was a normal girl-fight." I cut her off and she stayed quiet. She's been my closest friend and like a sister to me for a long time. I can't lose her like everyone else, plus, her parents are in Mexico, doing-"Jodie." I stated and she hummed in response as I stopped at a red light. "Your parents do science research, right?" I asked as she turned to look at me and I drove the car again. "Right. What's your plan?" I sighed. "Contact them. Ask them. Go to Mexico."
