So while these parts were taken out of the story, I still felt like sharing them w/ y'all. These might/might not stay up when I post the next part
From Chapter 2:
The others left Sam to unpack, both Mike and Pauly in Dani's room while Angelina sorted out the last of her things.
Pauly, picking a stuffed animal up off her bed: "Aww, look, she brought a friend."
Dani, rolling her eyes: "Don't pick on my hippo. I've had that thing since I was ten, my Pépé got him for me when I broke my arm."
Mike, going through the stuff on her dresser: "You brought books? Seriously?"
Dani: "Yes. I actually like to read when I'm laying out on the beach and stuff." batting him away from her jewelry case, "Do y'all have to touch everything?"

From (upcoming) Chapter 4:
Meanwhile in the other cab, Pauly and Dani were in the back seat, Dani noticeably a little bit drunk, and giggling as Pauly pulled her into his side.
Pauly: "See, I told you we'd have a good time, didn't I Georgia Girl?"
Dani, rolling her eyes, but leaning into him anyway, tucking her head against the side of his neck: "You're fucking ridiculous... but I missed you..."
Pauly, laughing and clearly proud of himself: "Yeah, I missed you too sweetheart."
[Angelina: "I don't know... It's just there's something weird watching the two of them together... it honestly feels like Dani's kind of desperate... you know what I mean?"]
[Mike: "Pauly and Dani? I dunno man... I mean, I feel like there could be something there, they've definitely been feeling each other since Jersey... but I don't know if either of them is ever going to act on it. I think they like their dynamic too much to risk a Ron and Sam type situation."]
