A bright yellow glow. Such a peculier shape... I drew closer as little glitters floated around the yellow orb before me. They flickered on and off, giving off a sense of happiness and comfort. I wanted to reached my hand to it, wanting to feel its warmth. If it had warmth... but when I did, all I felt was a cold essence. This indescribable feeling, one that sent shivers down my spine the moment I realized...This bright glow was nothing but a cold ball of nothing. As my realization sounded, the once bright orb quickly slithered away. Something in the darkness scurried and made a low gutteral growl. I was in nothing but darkness.

Terrified, cold, frozen. I slowly backed away from the once comforting presence of the cave. My heart pounding faster and faster as I tried to not make a move. Trying desperately to not show any signs of fear. I could feel my heart.. pounding.. I swallowed a lump in my throat to try and calm down but to no avail. My heart was beating so loudly I thought it could hear it. That if I had just... made one... wrong move............*snap*

I slowly looked down at my foot. A twig. Or- no... A bone? Was that...? I thought to myself as I slowly looked back up. There was a blinking light at the end of the cave. I squinted ever so slightly, just enough to see a monster. Its eyes blotted out, greyed and white. Its scales were green and sliced off in some areas. The teeth were long and jagged, almost piercing into its own mouth. The light flicked off, leaving me alone in the darkness once again. I slowly made my way to the entrance but instead, I hit a wall.

The monster screamed as it heard the thump of my back to the cold dirt and rocks of the wall. I had nowhere to go, perhaps I had gotten lost, but I was so sure... That thing was making its way to me. Its footsteps were digging up the dirt a clanking of what sounded to be its scales against the various types of rocks. My heart nearly shot out of my chest, it was drawing closer. I could hear the breathing, the loud screaming that almost made my ears bleed. I slowly slouched down, covering my eyes, preparing to be swallowed whole by that thing.. "one...two..."

I paused. I couldnt hear it anymore. I slowly uncovered my eyes, my back pressed up against something spikey. Perhaps it was some tree roots. I looked around but there was nothing but darkness only to see, that yellow orb again. But this time, it came from behind me.
