The weather was perfect...
The sun was nowhere in sight...
and the clouds that covered the sun didn't look like it would rain anytime soon...
The only scent in the air being that of freshly made pancakes...
"Morro, breakfast's ready!"

Happiness and warmth bubbled in Morro's soul.
The sound of a door opening echoed through the hall and a man bellowed "Veronica! Morro! I'm home!"

Morro ran to a pile of snow and laid in it...
The man and woman chuckled...
Morro got to his knees and started to make balls of snow...
Melodic singing filled the air...
"Our sweet baby...."
Morro turned to look at the man and woman...
They seem to look more sinister now...
"It pains us that you won't be getting a family..."
Morro starts to stare at them...
And they stare back...
"For no one wants a child like you..."
"Too needy, too troublesome..."
"That is why we left..."
"You're not worth it..."
Morro frowned and opened his mouth to ask...
Thunder struck the ground where the pair was...
Morro shielded his eyes...
When he figured it was over, he looked back where they used to be...
But they were gone...
