As the day of the play day dawned, Meriden, filled with anticipation, arrived at the front door and rang the doorbell. Lois, who had just finished all the preparations, greeted them with a smile. 'It's good to see you,' she said. 'I hope everything has been set up all right. Are you guys enjoying the house?' The air was filled with the excitement of the upcoming play day.Meriden, grateful for Lois's help, expressed his hope for a lasting friendship between the boys. 'Thank you, Lois, for all the help. I hope this friendship will last for a long time. This is going to be good for Alex and Dewey.' Lois, with a reassuring smile, led them inside, fostering a sense of warmth and support.
Meanwhile, Malcolm, engrossed in his schoolwork, couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. He looked at Dewey's seemingly perfect life and wished he could have the same. The tension in the room was palpable.
As this little incident unfolded, Meriden's keen observation caught Lois's attention. " Hey, Lois, does he always get that mad over the simplest things?" Lois turned her gaze towards Malcolm, her concern evident. "Oh, Malcolm, what's troubling you?" she mused. "Could it be jealousy?" she speculated, her voice filled with empathy.
Meriden said he might want to join his younger brother's lifestyle, but only partially. They are working too hard or stressed out over everything or what's happening to them.
Lois responded Malcolm has been working hard to keep up with his school work, but Malcolm is two grades above where he was in public school. Hence, it is fantastic to see him doing so well, but Malcolm should be able to do way more than that. He had a higher grade than what he is right now, but he seems to be holding back, and it might be due to all the stress of being the best and feeling outshined by his little brother. In a rather interesting situation, Lois remarks to herself,
Meriden said well if you need some help setting up another room for a new little one, I'll be more than willing to help you out with that. Malcolm is unlike his brother, but you might get a toddler. Lois responded that Malcolm wouldn't be exactly like his brother but that he would be close enough.
Some strange things started happening around Malcolm, and he was unsure what they were. It seemed like his parents were plotting something, and it also appeared that the new lady who moved onto the property with her son was helping. He didn't know that Malcolm knew it involved him somehow, and he was somewhat uncomfortable about it.
As Dewey was having fun, another was having a miserable time. Reese was now discovering that cooking was way more complicated than he could ever imagine, finding that his skills would be tested to their limits.
I approached Reese and said Son, you're going to have to stop with your schoolwork for a little while. I got you an internship. This should help you out with some real-world skills. Be prepared. It's going to take a lot of work.
As soon as Reese arrived at the restaurant and who the restaurant owner was, he knew he was in trouble. There he was, Gordon Ramsay. He knew he was screwed.
Gordon Ramsay realized that the kid was here, so your Reese, Gordon Ramsay said well, welcome to my restaurant. I heard that from your parents. You are an excellent chef striving to be the best. While you're in my domain, and I don't accept second-hand chefs. If you want to cut it here, you best bring the best you have, or I will chew you up and spit you back out.
A week before Reese showed up, Louis and Hal visited Gordon Ramsay and gave him a proposal: we want you to train our son to be the best chef. We'll make it worthwhile and less concerning for you. We will buy this restaurant from you so you don't have to worry about it, as well, Gordon Ramsay responds. We have a look at a deal. I'm curious if this boy can take this restaurant off my hands. I accept this challenge. I'll try the boy the best I can. Let's see if he could be the best chef in the world.
