Navya Mehra's POV-

I looked over my shoulder, looking at the sleeping man who kept his hand around my body like a seatbelt, but didn't use the real one as he felt I might feel too tight against my body.

I didn't know what made me fall for him the last time, but it felt like I wasn't away from falling once again.

I smiled at his face, tired, eyebags screaming how he skipped sleep on thousands of nights and he still managed to take care of me each passing day.

There was a reason my strict mom-dad screamed at me after I didn't show affection towards a guy.

"Vinay?"

I whispered only to find him wake up in panic.

"Kya hua? Tabiyaat kharab lag rahi kya? Oh god! Why didn't we take a doctor for way to home!"

This man.

"Aisa kuch nehi hai uff. Aise sone se dikkhat hogi, mere godh mein let jao."

He let out a sigh of relief as he laid on my lap, only after he was sure that I felt comfortable.

I also closed my eyes in relief. Off-course I had a reason to come back to living.

______

"Ise leke phir yaha aa gaye tum!"

My sleep broke as I heard a feminine voice scream. Waking up, I didn't recognise the room I was sleeping in.

Walking out, I saw a middle aged woman scream at Vinay.

"I freaking love her, mom. Can you please stay out of this?"

Vinay looked enough annoyed. The person who was apparently his mom, was the first person to notice me.

"Dekho, aa gayi tumhari raani. Bistaar pe leti thi, wahi rehti. Phir se jaag gayi 2 saal baad!"

Vinay's mother kept giving me death glares while he came towards my way, cupping my face in his hands.

"Tum rehne do, mujhe hi samajhna chahiye tha ki I shouldn't take you in a sick house."

I felt some silent tears fall from my eyes as I replied,

"Mujhe ghaar bhej doh."

"Areh beta, yeh sab mat socho. This is my house, you're always invited."

A middle-aged young man, whom I assumed was Vinay's dad, spoke up.

"Please."

I mouthed towards my man, only to find him hold my hand and rush out of his own house.

_____

"Yeh dekho, tumhara room."

I smiled at my mumma, she was so excited to show me what she called our 'new house'. The room was filled with pastel pink, my favourite colour since birth. I could hear guitar strings from outside of our room, most probably my man was making those.

"Ap logo ko Vinay bohot pasand hai na?"

I asked while side hugging my mom.

"Tumhe nehi laga accha?"

She questioned me in reply of my own question.

"Mhm."

I just blushed. Who wouldn't like a life partner like him?

Out attention was drawn to the knock we heard on the door. Vinay entered with a glass of water in his hand.

"It's your medicine time. Sorry disturb kiya."
