- the day on patrol before the wedding -

The day before Lucy and tim's wedding dawned bright & early in los Angeles. the precinct was buzzing with excitement as everyone prepared for another day out on patrol. Lucy and Celina were assigned to patrol together, while Tim and Aaron teamed up. Nolan was on solo patrol, and Nyla and Angela , the detectives were paired us as always.
Lucy and Celina were cruising through the city keeping an eye out for any suspicious activity.
Celina- "so hows time handling the last minute wedding stuff?" Celina asked glancing at Lucy with a grin.
Lucy giggled. "oh, you know tim. he trued to pick the flowers himself but ended up with a bunch of weeds. luckily the florist saved the day".
Celina chuckled." that sounds like him. any other wedding disasters, i remember the curse "the day before the wedding. haha remember??"
Lucy chuckles, "yeah but we're getting through it just fine. the caterer mixed up the orders and the DJ almost canceled but we managed to sort everything out."
meanwhile, tim and Aaron were discussing their patrol route. "I cant believe you're getting married tomorrow, "Aaron said, shaking his head. "seems like just yesterday you were the grumpy training officer Lucy always talked and whined about".
tim smirked, "still am, just a lot happier now, you know its like ever since i met her shes always just had this spark that always lit mine. im never letting that go. shes my person.".
The radio crackled to life, interrupting their conversation. "all units, suspicious vehicle reported near the first national bank. proceed with caution".
tim and Aaron exchanged a look. "lets go," tim said, flipping on the siren.
Nolan, patrolling nearby, heard the call and headed towards the bank as well. "looks like it's going to be an interesting say, "he muttered to himself.
Nyla and Angela already on the case decided to join in. "we can wrap this up quickly and get back yo wedding prep", Angela said, steering the car towards the bank.
as they all converged on the scene they found the suspicious vehicle parked haphazardly near the bank entrance, engine still running. "this feels off," Nyla said, scanning the area.
Just then, a masked man burst out of the bank, clutching a bag of money. he sprinted towards the car, but tim and Aaron were already out of their patrol car, guns drawn. "STOP! POLICE!" tim shouted.
the suspect ignored them, pulling out his gun and giving into the car shooting. Nolan, arriving just in tim, rammed his patrol car into the suspects vehicle, blocking his escape. the suspect trued to flee on got but Nolan tackled him to the ground. "gotcha!" Nolan grinned, securing the cuffs.
Nyla and Angela arrived to take the suspect to custody. "nice work," Nyla says fist bumping Angela.
back on patrol, Lucy and Celina were still laughing about wedding mishaps, when all of a sudden Lucy's phone rings. it was tim. "hey, did you hear about the bank thing?" he asked.
"yeah, sounds like you had some fun," Lucy replied. "everything okay with the wedding now"?
tim sighed, "yeah, we had a few complications, but everything's sorted out. i cant wait to see you walk down the aisle tomorrow."
Lucy smiled, "me too. just a few more hours and its our big day".
as the sun set over los Angeles everyone starting heading back to the station and gathered for a pre-wedding celebration. laughter filled the room as they shared stories and jokes. "remember when tim tried to pick the flowers" Aaron teased, causing everyone to burst into laughter.
tim rolled his eyes but couldn't help but smile while glancing over at Lucy.
tim looks back over at Aaron "yeah yeah laugh it up just wait until your wedding day".
Nolan raised a toast, "to Lucy and tim. may your marriage be as strong as our team and filled with as much laughter and love."
everyone cheered, clinking their glasses together. the camaraderie and bond they shared were evident, and it was clear that no matter what challenges came their way, they would face them together.
later that night, as Lucy and tim were getting ready to end their shifts, they found a quiet closet and they both went inside and closed the door behind them while tim and smiling and Lucy giggles and tim starts kissing Lucy.
