Chapter 29

Yoongi's Pov:

We all were sitting inside the room, in case Kook might wake up and need something . That's when RM got a call, and he went outside to attend it... Dad came near me and put his hand on my shoulder. " Yoongi , please come outside with me . I need to talk to you, son . " Dad said softly, and I got up from my chair and kept Kook's hand carefully on the bed as he might get disturbed and wake up abruptly..

We both went outside to the garden and sat down on a bench .. We both were silent until dad said something that made me shocked . " Yoongiyaah Appa is sorry for everything ."

" Dad , what are you saying? Is everything okay ? " I asked, not being able to digest the fact that our dad was apologising to me . It was just something he never said to us . It wasn't like he was an egoistic person or something. It's just that he never did something to us that required an apology ... Okay, maybe not every one of my siblings, especially Jungkook.... But I don't think he did anything to me, so why was he suddenly apologising ...

" Yoon, I know everything has been hard on you all, especially Jungkook, and I am well aware it is because of me that you all are living this suffocating lives . I know all of you had different dreams, which you all wanted to achieve but couldn't because of me forcing you all to join our company and mafia .. I know that I need to apologise for many things , like being unnecessarily controlling, strict, and hard on you all. I hurt you all a lot , as a boss , as a parent and as a mentor. I was never someone whom you could talk freely to , I know all that very well and don't think I don't know how you all always kept all your "secrets,"or should I say even basic interests away from me thinking that I would put a stop to it completely. I know I am not a caring and loving father who will be like a friend to their kid in front of your eyes, but dear ,Appa, do care for you all , I do love you all , I too want to be like a friend to whom you all can say anything without fear . I, too, want all that, but Yoon, the profession in which we work , it's dangerous for you all . If I raised you all with a mindset that everyone around you would be sweet and loyal , then you would be easily betrayed in this world, but the way I raised you taught you that there are people who care for you but that doesn't mean everyone cares about you or will be loyal to you , so think twice before accepting someone if you don't want to be hurt . No one is trustworthy in this world, son, not even our own blood . I know I have always been strict with you all for each everything , I have put restrictions on you all for everything, and as most people say, " that parent's always  put restrictions on their kids wishes or dreams when it is wrong for them only " but I will accept I have not been doing all that because your wishes were wrong I know each and every one of the wishes you guys had were normal and innocent...

I know I did everything for my own selfish intentions. I know I am not a good father, but son, please understand that I didn't have any other choice.. I am sorry I was not rich even after being born into an affluent family . I left my family to marry your mom, and that time, I used to work under my dad, but since he was against our marriage, he threw me out of everything , my house , my job everything.  I struggled and did what all jobs I could find, and by that time, your mom was pregnant with Jin . I didn't even make enough money to support our basic needs . But then, one day, I happened to save a man who was lying on the street covered in blood after being shot . I took him to the hospital as fast as I could and fortunately reached their on time .

He was so grateful to me for saving his life that he offered me a job as his right hand after knowing that I was struggling. I started working in his company and started earning enough to make ourselves comfortable, and I was really thankful to that man who helped me so much . But that didn't last long he didn't have any family members, but I was really close to him that he considered me his younger brother .
He was a mafia and asked me if I wanted to be a part of it.  I refused at first, but he told me that since we were already this close with each other, his enemies might target me to hurt him, so he wanted to make sure I was powerful enough to protect myself and my fmaily but I didn't budge and turned down the offer  . But to my nightmare,  his words came true, and they kidnapped your mom. He saved her, but I know he can't do that always, so I decided to follow his words, and now here we are..  Mr. Kim said while tears were flowing down from his eyes .... I hugged dad immediately
