Jahnvi's POV:
"Jahnvi beta, wake up. You have to get ready for the wedding, right? Wake up.", I heard my mom's voice.
"5 more minutes, ma. I'll wake up.", I said and wrapped the bedsheet around myself.
"Beta, aunt will be upset if we are late to her wedding. So, wake up.", my mom said, pulling the bedsheet away from me.
I started whining, got up and sat on the bed.
After sometime, I went to the washroom, got refreshed.
I got ready and wore the outfit which mausi had chosen for me.
I went out and sat next to my dad.
"Good morning dad.", I said.
"Good morning, beta. Arey waah, you are looking like a princess.", my dad said.
I smiled, looking at him.
"Didn't you get ready?", I asked.
"Yes, I will.", my dad said.
My mother handed over a plate to me and started eating the food.
"Eat as much as you can. We'll be having our lunch by 3pm, Jaanu since we'll be at the wedding.", she said.
I nodded.
"Shivanya, aren't Ranjana and her family coming to the wedding?", my father asked.
"Ranjana, oh yes, they'll be attending the wedding."
"What about her husband? He is a busy man. When did they four return back from London?", my dad asked.
"I don't think her husband will be joing us but yeah, Ranjana, Rakshita and Manas will be at the wedding.", my mom replied.
"Oh, yeah. Manas and Rakshita would have grown up. Can't wait to meet them.", my dad said.
I know Rakshita, I remember playing with her when I was a kid. Also, mom keeps praising Rakshita for being a studious and obedient kid. But, who is Manas? Mom has never mentioned about him to me.
Let's see at the wedding.
Just then, my phone rang and it was none other than my friend, Priya.
"Hi, what's up?"
"What is my Jaana doing?", she asked.
"Your Jaana is getting ready to attend her mausi's wedding."
"Oh, I see. Then, you can't talk to me now, right?"
"Yeah, baby. I'll call at night, let's talk.", I said.
"Done. Have fun at the wedding. By the way, when will the school reopen? I'm bored, re.", she said.
"Bored, seriously. I'm happily enjoying these holidays. And, regarding reopen I think it'll be in mid-June since we are gonna get promoted to 11th grade.", I said.
"Yeah, more one half month is there. I don't know how I'm gonna spend these 45 days.", she said, whining.
"We can manage, priyu...", I said.
"Jahnvi, get ready, we have to leave.", my mom yelled.
"Hey, ok. I'll talk to you, later.", I said.
"Ok.", she hung up the call.
Time Skip,
We reached the marriage hall and it was around 11 am.
Me, Manvi and mom took an auto while my father came by his scooter.
