Christian's Point of View
Are you sure you wanna play today, I ask him. He nods. I know for a fact that Counsell will probably bench me for the next few games just so I can keep an eye on you, I tell him. Yeah, he rasps. I smile and kiss him. Mom didn't even find out that she was pregnant with Collin until she was 2 months along, I tell him. Why is that he asks me. Well, some pups conceal themselves in the stomach until they want to be shown, I say slowly. He smiles as we get into my car and drive to the field. I sigh. It'll be okay, he tells me. I laugh. I know, I tell him.

4th inning.

I'm sitting on the bench when I notice him sit down in the outfield grass. The entire game just freezes in time nobody moves except our team, the entire dodgers roster and the fans. I full on sprint into the outfield and sit next to him. Can someone grab me a bucket or something, I shout. Counsell brings one over and hands it to me. I put it in front of G. I rub his back. Everyone looks at us in shock but there are cheers of support as well. It's okay baby, I coo. He throws up into the bucket. I wave off the cart that they were bringing out. He groans softly. I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look up and see our entire roster and the Dodgers entire roster surrounding us providing shade. I sigh in relief. C'mon baby we're going home, i whisper to him. We slowly stand up and I notice someone took the bucket and gave him a plastic bag for the way home. I put my hat on him as well as a cold towel around his shoulders. Everyone keeps us shaded until we get into the dugout. Everyone cheers as we walk down the tunnel to the clubhouse. I grab our stuff and pick him up and carry him to the car making sure all the windows are darkened and the AC is on full blast. We get back to the house and I carry him inside and put him on the couch. How are you feeling baby, I ask him. He groans as I grab a bucket and put it next to him. Cameron was like this. His morning sickness lasted for a week and his pups were born 5 weeks after that, I say. That short, he rasps. I nod. Wait you said pups, he rasps. I nod again. Him and his mate have 3 pups, I tell him. He smiles. Both him and Collin both have 3 pups, I explain. Would I know Cameron and Collin's mates, he asks me. I think you would know them. But for right now, you need to rest, I say while kissing his forehead. He smiles and falls asleep.
