Chapter 5

"Can we take a break ."
Ewen spoke in pitiful voice .
Becky , George and Emile collapsed behind him .
They were walking for hours non stop and river didn't seems to end . No matter how far they view it was all dense forest .

"I can't take this anymore . My legs will fall apart ."
Becky cried in despair . Anya offered her friend some water .
"It's okay , Becky . We will find a way out ."

"Yes, let's walk further and then we will take a break ."
Damian patted both Emile and Ewen . Thus , they started their journey further .

"I really want to go home and eat some chocolate ."
Emile nibbled his bottom lips and George groaned in annoyance .
"Don't say that or I will really cry . Dad !"
Despite his words , water filled his eyes .

"Don't you think our parents will already know of our disappearance . "
Bill spoke in terror and group froze .
They were trouble weren't they .

Dog following them also looked perplexed . Now he felt bad for the poor kids .

Loid sat in police station and was inquired by them .
He looked around to see his distressed family .
Yor with Melinda and other mothers sat in the corner sadly . From the look , ladies seemed to like yor's strength ?

Yuri was contacting other police officers and intimidating in the way .

Bond sat on the ground whining to himself and he was himself surrounded by fathers .

Donovan Desmond was nowhere to be found and one who came in his stead was Demetrius Desmond ( Damian's older brother ) .

He sighed on his own incompetence .

Mr . Henderson regret giving kids this kind of project . He felt Martha's sympathetic eyes on him .

A old police officer came to him and placed a firm hand on his soldiers .
"I know how you feel . See , I have a granddaughter too and if something happens to her then .... Don't worry we will try our best ."
Henderson said nothing , mouth agape .

They only allowed parents and gaurdians to enter into police station .
And he came with loid forger because he was worried about his kids .

"You have raised your son right . Such a gentleman ."
Old man continued and Henderson can't do anything but nod . Loid was just elegant .

"Your daughter in law is reliable and granddaughter is small and cute . A nice family indeed but ..... he -"
Old police officer pointed to Yuri blair , who was shouting on anyone and everyone .

"Your daughter in law 's brother is kinda ...not okay . Anyways , don't stress and be healthy. "
With that he went away .

' Loid forger might have trouble with his brother in laws. '
Mr . Henderson nodded to himself .

"Sir , we have a big lead . From a mysterious source that children rented a car and went to bus stand . From there they boarded buses and trains to reach Country side village - Rodolfo ."

' Secret source ! Must be franky .'
Loid thought in his mind

"Okay , search more about their current location and send some people look for that mysterious source ."

"Why would kids go to Rodolfo ?"
Melinda questioned everyone .

"Oh no ! Rodolfo - it's that dangerous forest ."
Loid eyes wide open in realisation .

"No way , my Becky is inside that forbidden jungle ."
Becky's father gasped in horror .

"George , my son . We need to go there fast ."
George's father panicked .

"No sir , you can't enter in there ."
"Our kids are in danger and you want us to just sit here ."
Yor shouted shutting up the young police officer .

"I will prepare a flight . Everyone get ready by evening ."
Bill's father stood abruptly and left to do preparation .

Yuri , Henderson and Martha also jumped into actions .

"Why would our sweet Anya lie to us ? I can't even catch her lie ."
Yor muttered to herself . Infact , they all had the same thought .

A master spy , bloody assassin , secret police officer and informant got fooled by a child . Such a shame .

Loid , who had nothing to say , hugged yor in response . They all sat in silence and agony.

It was midnight and they were still on their two feets. They were covered in sweat and dirt .

It felt like hell but they didn't stop . Stopping now means death .

"After looking at this forest , Anya remember a story . A huge hairy monster lives deep in the woods and eats young fresh flesh ."
Anya continued her horror story and scared the group .

"Keep your mouth shut dummy ."
Damian yelled and Becky agreed .
" He is right Anya . You are a biggest idiot ."

"Why are you all so slow . Move faster , come on ."
George thought that this was the best place to show his braveness. He walked further without any fear .
Then stood facing them and puffing his chest .

"Ge - George ." 
Bill looked terrified  . Damian held Anya's hand and was ready to make run .

George thought they were afraid of him
"Come on , there is no need to afraid of me . I won't hurt you all "

"Look behind you ."
"Stupid ."
Emile and Ewen shouted simultaneously

"Haha , are you making me scared . Oh yes , a big scary monster is behind me -"
Just as he spoke those words a hand landed on his shoulders . He just took a looks at huge gloomy figure and made a run .

They started yelling and running in opposite direction. But that mysterious figure was catching up with them .

"He is very close . Come on , climb on me ."
Bill threw Anya and Becky on either of the shoulder , and collected Emile , Ewen and Damian in his arms . George dangled on his neck with his camera on the verge of fall .

"George is very brave . Let him fight that off ."
Damian shouted as George cried ' no ' .

"Throw that mutt . It's of no use ."
Becky gritted her teeth looking at dog in Anya's hand .

Bill  ,with all the commotion , didn't saw the rock in way and tripped . They all had a nasty fall .

"Help !"
Damian, Emile and Ewen were painfully crushed under Bill's body .

"Ah , I can't feel my head ."
George clutched his throbbing forehead .

"Anya can't feel her shoulders ."
She went down hard and her poor shoulders took the impact .

"I am bleeding ."
Bill looked at his scratched knees and elbows .

"You !"
Becky made a menacing smile . Her beautiful face was covered in scratches .

Bill backed away in fear and no one noticed the dog , who smelled something familiar .

He barked softly and lept towards the mysterious figure .
