Origins

The movie opens with a montage depicting the idyllic life of our protagonist, Alex Parker (played by Drake Bell), a young college student with a passion for science and justice. He is shown as a diligent student, a caring friend, and a loving son to his single mother, Sarah.

However, Alex's life takes a dramatic turn when he stumbles upon a mysterious experiment conducted by his late father, a brilliant scientist who died under suspicious circumstances. Investigating further, Alex discovers that his father was working on a groundbreaking project involving genetic enhancement and advanced technology, aiming to create a new breed of superheroes to combat rising threats to humanity.

Determined to uncover the truth behind his father's death and to honor his legacy, Alex delves deeper into his father's research. Along the way, he encounters Dr. Victor Stein, his father's former colleague who seems to be hiding dark secrets.

As Alex delves deeper into the mysteries surrounding his father's work, he inadvertently activates one of his father's experimental devices, which imbues him with extraordinary abilities. Initially overwhelmed and confused by his newfound powers, Alex seeks guidance from Sarah's old friend, Dr. Emily Cruz, a respected scientist and former superhero herself.

With Emily's help, Alex begins to understand the extent of his abilities and the responsibility that comes with them. However, he soon finds himself pursued by mysterious forces who will stop at nothing to obtain his father's research and harness the power for their own sinister purposes.

As Act 1 concludes, Alex realizes that he must embrace his destiny as a superhero in order to protect his loved ones and uncover the truth behind his father's death. The stage is set for a thrilling journey of self-discovery, danger, and redemption.
