Baek Yeon was both an esper and a guide. The center's one and only. Her special ability is mind-reading. She possessed ESP, which enabled her to see into other people's unconsciousness.

"If you want to read their mind, I can read it, but you have to consider a mental breakdown."
Should we proceed? When Baek Yeon inquired, Baek Han shook her head.

Baek Han shook Ji-young's head, and the silky hair moved with it. Baek Han, gazing at his twin sister's patient smile, quietly withdrew his hand.

This was because he was curious if he could learn anything by combing through Ji-young's adorable little head with his mind.

He had already captured one of the lesser espers of LEEAK and interrogated him, to discover that this guide, Ji-young, was only doing , mundane tasks.

JI-young is a low-ranking guide who cannot be expected to perform the role of a guide due to their limited capacity to guide.

Even if it's true, they should get the guide examined. It might still be a trap.

The guiding amount was so small that it couldn't be used in that way, yet it felt so damn good. It was completely unlike the other guides.

Just that little bit caused Baek Han's lower abdomen to tighten. He was usually stimulated during battles. However, simply receiving radiation guidance left him feeling completely empowered.

As an esper, it is natural to wonder what it would be like to be guided.

Baek Han raised his gaze upward and considered something. Baek Yeon, who noticed Baek Han's brightly colored eyes, was irritated that he was thinking such mean thoughts again.

Baek Han smiled and said to Baek Yeon:.

"Shall we go eat budae stew?"

"What about this guide?"

"He's taking glucose right now."

When Baek Han pointed to the IV pole, Baek Yeon shook her head, taking back the supernatural power waves she had used to read the guide's unconsciousness.

"I don't plan on reporting this to the guide management department."

"Good. Is there still room for guides at the Dongjuk Department?"

"You are being ridiculous."

Baek Yeon narrowed her brow and replied, as if telling Baek Han not to mess with her department. Baek Han chuckled.

Medicine was still dripping from the IV.

Baek Yeon sighed briefly before urging Baek Han, who was watching the yellow IV solution flowing through the plastic tube, to stop touching the back of the guide's hand.

"What are you going to report to the higher-ups?"

"Well, wouldn't it be fine to say that I fell in love at first sight? It'll be fine."

Baek Han grinned again, looking at Baek Yeon, who was staring at him pitifully. Baek Yeon quickly gave up while looking into his eyes, unsure what he was thinking.

She didn't want to know what her twin, who was suddenly singing "Budae Jjigae," was thinking.

"You buy it, this time."

"But Yuna, I bought it last time too."

"I didn't bring my wallet."

"Great."

Baek Han giggled and wrapped his arm around Baek Yeon's shoulder.

Baek Yeon looked behind him. The guide, who was lying down with a gaunt face, was unable to wake up due to years of accumulated fatigue.
