It's 5 am on a cold morning. The temperature is colder than usual, but thankfully I've brought my vest to keep me warm.I'm currently standing in a fairly deserted place. Well, "deserted" is I think probably not a proper way to describe it. It's more like a place that is not very well-known or often visited by people. That's why, it's my favorite spot for training as I don't have to worry about being disturbed here. I always come here to train.
I'm here four times a week but since my loss in my previous fight two weeks ago I'm here every morning. My ego was hurt pretty badly, but I think it's for the best. Training here every morning and evening allows me to distract myself from the stress, hate, and everything else that's going on in my life.
My outfit today is pretty basic - grey sweatpants with a white, slightly tighter t-shirt over it, with a grey vest to prevent cold winds from harming my sensitive skin this morning.
I start my training with simple basic warm-up activities - jumping, stretching my arms and legs, and some light jogging.
When I wanted to start the actual training session, I suddenly felt a strange feeling in my stomach. Something just didn't feel right here.
I tried to ignore the feeling and started my regular routine, but the feeling only grew more intense as I progressed.
Not only the weird feeling in my stomach, but my whole body feels bizarre. It's like I'm not alone here anymore.
The feeling of being stalked sets in. Suddenly, my entire body feels like it's being monitored, watched from all sides, as I'm surrounded by unseen eyes.
Could it be some people are just passing through? It's a public place after all, and it's quite possible. But why in the world, am I sensing something so sinister?
With all the strange sensations, that are distracting me all the time, concentration has become a challenge, and training has become virtually impossible in this state.
I can't properly train when I can't focus on my tasks. So there's no point in wasting my time with this.
Damnit! I hate these people so much.
I was walking on the passenger sidewalk when I suddenly stopped and looked up from my phone.
There is someone following me! Someone strong.
I don't have the time or energy to fight.
My heart was pounding at a feverish tempo as if it couldn't possibly stop its rapid beating.
My arms and fists clenched tightly around my phone.Suddenly, I feel a pair of hands grab my shoulders.
I instinctively screamed as I spun around to face the danger, only to be frozen dead in my tracks. Just to roll my eyes when I face it.
"Nuh? Are you so excited to see me?" He said in a playful tone.
"MAHITO! Don't you ever dare to scare me like that again!" I shouted.
"What? Did I scare you?" He burst out laughing as he put his left hand on his cheek.
"No, you didn't." I hissed.
"Of course I didn't scare out the cool big strong Liya." He said sarcastically.
I couldn't help but smile.
"What do you want?" I asked while continuing to walk with him next to me.
"I was wondering what you're doing." He explained.
