Treasure Cupid Arden

It was time to take my baby home sadly, "come on maliki you gotta put on yo shoes" he was being a big baby cause he ain't wanna leave, "I don't wanna" I sighed and put his shoes on as he whined more.

"I know my baby but it's time to go home" "I wanna stay" he started to cry and my heart broke, "I'm sorry love bug but you can't stay I can see if I can take you again in two weeks" "I don't wanna leave you!"

"I know love bug but you gotta go back"  he whined some more and admire came in, "y'all ready to go?" "Yeah" I grabbed maliki little Spider-Man book bag.

We where now in the car on are way to there nanas house, "you ready to see grandma again maliki" admire said, "no I wanna stay with treasure!"

"Boy be quiet he not gonna leave yo ass" he still kept on whining tho.

We was finally there and maliki was knocked out, I took him outta his car seat and carried him to the door. "Open da door it's to hot out here"

"Ok damn" he unlocked the door and I walked in, it was awfully quiet, "nana don't work right?" "Nah she don't work maybe she asleep you know she old"

I hummed and laid maliki on the couch, "I'm finna go wake her up and see if she want some food hol up" he went in her room and he immediately rushed back out.

"She dead" huh wait what, "what are you talkin bout she dead!" I whispered yelled I still didn't wanna wake up maliki. "I went to check on her and she not breathing"

He was tryna hold back his tears but he was failing, I ran to her room only to see her laid on her bed her face was losing color. I started to cry.

"What we gonna tell maliki" he was in the room with me, I looked over and he was crying bad, I immediately hugged him. I ain't seen him cry a lot so I knew it was bad.

After all she was basically his mother, she raised him. He hugged me not saying anything as we slowly rocked back and fourth, "why nana look white?" We immediately stopped hugging when we heard maliki voice.

He was rubbing his eyes, "why buba crying!" He immediately grew upset, after all I don't think maliki ever saw him cry. "Nana wake up maliki crying"

"Come on maliki let's go pack yo bags we gonna have a very long sleep over" "wat bout nana she gonna be lonely" "maliki do what treasure says" he was on his phone.

I picked up maliki and headed to his room and started to stuff all his clothes in trash bags. "Is nana ok?" I didn't respond, "love but you won't being nana for a long time ok?"

"Why not!" He started to throw a fit, and i wanted to bust out and cry harder. "Cause now which toys do you wanna bring we can't bring all of them we will buy you new ones"

He picked out his toys he wanted to bring, they was basically all spider man themed. The people that took away dead bodies showed up and carried out nana.

"Why nana covered up!" "Come give me a hug love bug" he was confused but just did so, "I'm sorry maliki" tears once again started to fall down my face.

"Why you crying" "I'm sorry" admire came in the room and looked at us, "why don't you go give buba a hug he really needs one right now" he looked at me confused yet again but did what I asked him to.

Admire picked him up and held him tight, "nana in heaven now maliki you can't see her no mo" I sat and watched it all, he had to explain what heaven was to maliki. Maliki started to cry once he realized he couldn't see her no more.

I wiped my tears away, "come on y'all we gonna go back to the house we gotta plan her funeral"

The house was silent, I put maliki to bed not to long ago. He was still upset but I couldn't blame him, I was now sitting by admire on the bed he ain't say nothin.

"Talk to me it's ok to grieve it's ok to cry it don't make you weak Jupiter" "ion got nothin to say everybody die we all gon die sooner or later that's how life work"

I sighed, "god chooses when he wants to take his angels and it was her time to go." I just laid my head on his shoulder humming, "just remember to grieve ok?"

"Ok" I looked at him and kissed his lips, "ima always be here for you just know dat I love you" "I love you to" we sat in silence yet again, "we gon go and get maliki new toys tomorrow and a bed and we need to decorate his room."

"We should make it Spider-Man theme" "that's a good idea" again it was silent, "you think we would be good parents?" "I think we would be amazing parents, you basically raised maliki and he damn near think of you as his father"

"You want kids?" "Yeah I love kids" "maybe when the cops not on my ass we can go adopt some kids" I smiled at that idea, "ok." I played with his locs as we was laying down talking about are future.

"I'm glad you gave me one more chance" "me to" "I'ma really mis her yk" "I know ima help you grieve the right way" he kissed my lips and closed his eyes sighing.

"I'm sorry for everything I ever did to you" "I don't forgive you yet but I know you are truly sorry" "I'm sorry I'm the reason you don't talk to yo sister and mom no mo to."

"They was toxic anyways" "let's go to sleep it's already 1." He turned to face me and out his arms around me putting his head in my neck.

He was out like a light after 2 minutes and I was about to go night night to.

But the door opened and in came maliki, "I had bad dream can I sleep with y'all?" "Yeah come on love bug" he climbed in the bed shoving himself in between us.

Admire wrapped his arms around both of us. I could hear maliki lil snored ew they sleep the same to.

I closed my eyes and let sleep take me away.
