Devil Right Side Up

Episode 3

The episode starts with Dex waking up and looking at his phone to see Clara texted him.

Dex :HOLY SH*T!!

Dex got dressed and ran to tell Husk and Alastor who happened to be there

Dex:She said, "Meet me at the overlord meeting today, and we can see each other."

Alastor:Well, that's quite a request from, but I suppose you can come with me.

Dex:You mean it?

Alastor:Of course, plus you can help me, dispose of these.

Alastor pointed at the egg Bois.

Dex:Oh right, I forgot that snake is here now...

Husk:Tell me about it...

A few minutes later, Dex and Alastor ran into Zestial, who intimidated Dex.

Zestial:Well, what's your name, my friend?

Dex:Uh, Dex, sir...

Alastor:Dex, don't be afraid, Zestial isn't dangerous, but if you accidentally make him mad, run.

Dex was feeling more nervous as they approached the meeting.

Dex and the 2 overlords arrived at the meeting.

Clara noticed Dex and waved him over  to introduce him to her mom and sister.

Dex slowly approached, but he was pushed over by Alastor's shadow, who gave him a smug look.

Dex:Wow..

Dex:Hey Clara.. heh, thanks for inviting me..

Clara:No problem, this is my sister Odette and Mom.

Dex:Nice to meet you both..

Carmilla:So Clara tells me you helped her when our truck broke down.

Dex:Yes, I did, Ms Carmine.

Carmilla:I thank you for that.

Carmilla and the other overlords sat down, with Dex sitting next to Clara and Odette.

Then Velvette appeared and pulled out the angel head, which began to stress out Dex and agitate Carmilla.

Velvette noticed this and decided to play mind games.

Velvette:Judging from your reaction, you've ad history with angels, huh?

Dex:What's it to you?

Velvette:I'm just saying you seem to be getting quite agitated, almost as if you've seen one.

Dex:Stop..

Velvette:What's wrong, wolf boi, am I upsetting you!?

Dex:Stop!

Carmilla could see Dex was beginning to be mad.

Velvette:Did an angel do something to you, HUH!?

Dex:STOP!!

Clara sat Dex back down before he could cause a scene.

Then Respectless plays.

After it finished, Dex got up and stormed out.

Clara and Odette went after him.

Dex was outside the building just trying to calm himself down, but what Velvette said really got to him!

Dex:What does that wh*re know about me, SHE KNOWS NOTHING!!

Dex was about to claw himself, but Clars grabbed his arm.

Dex:What do you want?

Odette:We came to check on you.

Dex:You have, now leave me alone.

Clara:What Velvette said, did it hurt you?

Dex said nothing then began to tear up.

Dex:LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE!

Clara hugged Dex, who was still crying his eyes out.

Dex:The truth is, I've been suffering with PTSD ever since that day...

Odette:What day?

Dex:The day, an angel, ruined my life, I lost my family, and I've had a hatred ever since...

Odette:That's horrible.

Dex:That's why when the Angel's head was revealed, I began to grow angry.

Clara:Come with us..

Odette and Clara helped Dex inside where he sat at the now abandoned meeting table, apart from Zestial and Carmilla.

Carmilla:Is he alright?

Clara:No, he's still angry from what Velvette said to him.

Zestial:It hurt Carmilla as well-

Carmilla:Zestial, don't.

Carmilla:Dex, I think it's best that you leave,but I grant you permission to see Clara. If you ever need someone to talk to, you know where we are..

Dex:Thank you, Mrs Carmine.

Dex left and headed back to the hotel.

Clara:Dex!

Dex turned around and...

Clara kissed him on the cheek.

Dex was speechless as Clara walked away.

Dex walked, and when he arrived outside the hotel..

Dex:F*CK YEAH, WHOOO HOOO!!!

Charlie and Vaggie heard it.

Vaggie:I'd say that went well.
