Mbali

I just finished my assignment honestly I'm drained school can be too much shame ay. As I put my laptop inside my drawer reality start to kick in mama needed money for my brothers school shoes likely it's month-end and bursary paid so at least I will have the money to send to mama

so I decided to hit the shower and go to the bank
Once I was done I put my long black dress on  and tired my Afro into a bunny.
I check my self out at my broken small mirror I look fine I take my small bag as I open the door to our flat zandile shows up in my face oh ay
I wonder where she's coming from I last saw her a week ago yuuu u girl smells of alcohol she can't even stand properly she has her shoes and bag in her hand " what are you wearing " she say looking at me like I'm not even human ke sana
And it's triggeres something in me but I don't wanna entertain lo I have important things to do so I just went out without a word.

I share an apartment with my roommates zandile whom I see once after two weeks she's a groovist shame sometimes I wonder how she manage to balance all of this school and partying but it seems like she can manage because she's doing her 3th year also.
We don't have relationships we are two different people bandla Her and her friends tembisa also say I'm boring but who cares I'm here to study so I can change mama's situation back home unlike her both of her parents are working so she's knows nothing about struggling financially.

I arrived at the bank thank god it was not busy I deposit the money for umama and call her immediately She thanked me to the point where I felt tears about to come out
Mama suffered a stroke 6 years ago she's couldn't work anymore she's can't even move around she spent most of her time inside the yard.
She needs assistance in so many things atleast my siblings thuba (brother )15& angel
(Sister)17 are there with mama. And every month i send them I get from my busary. Yeap that's why I wear these pep dresses because that all I can afford right at this moment.
