Prologue

The sound of guns....screams and running in the snow was heard. The war between Mercs and some of the robots was tough. Engineer and Spy were trying to deactivate them as soon as possible....but it was useless. Scout and Heavy were destroying the robots and Pyro was burning them, thinking that he was playing with a toy robot due to Pyrovision googles. Everything went so smoothly for them, they were winning.
,,Hahaha! We are winning lads!" Demoman shouted.
,,These deviants have no chance to beat us, we are stronger." Scout laughed as he broke another deviated robot.
,,But we are easily injured, we are bones and meat Scout, they are just metal." Sniper said with a serious voice.
,,Ja, I'm healing how much I can, but I can't really keep the tempo. Too many injuries." Medic said while he was a healing Engineer and Soldier.
,,Don't worry Doctor, we are not complaining. Soon, these tin cans will be dead." Heavy said, and was shooting more androids.
Soldier, Demoman and Spy smirked, the robots were less and less every minute.

,,We won! You maggots have no chance!" Soldier laughed and kicked a broken android head. Demoman calmed down his friend and sent him to Medic, since he had a lot of scratches and injuries.
,,Good job gentlemen, we destroyed them all." Spy lit up his cigarette.
,,Weird is, why would a deviant android attack the others if they SOMEHOW managed to feel emotions and pain. Like us, humans." Sniper groaned while he was eating a sandwich.
,,Well pal, I don't understand this either. Maybe I can take one of them for the test. To find out if it was a malfunction or not." Engineer said. Pyro meanwhile was lighting up some broken robots. Heavy was preparing some sandwiches and Medic was treating Soldier's and Scout's injuries. It wasn't serious but just to make sure they will not catch any infection, because Medic doesn't want to deal with such a baby wound. When he was done, Scout served him a sandwich.
,,Yo, doc. Come and eat. All wounds are treated."  Everyone was eating, except for him.
,,Heh, I'm coming." Medic put his Medigun down and started walking to his team.

One deviant android is still lurking. It escaped, it hid. Now it waits for a good moment. It had a gun and grenade. When it saw that they went to eat, it was a good moment. At first it hesitates...but when it sees the other destroyed it throws a grenade.

Mercs were eating and finally relaxing. Everything is fine, they won.
,,So, what now? I don't think Cyber life will forgive us that we destroyed almost half of their robots." Scout said.
Everyone was thinking. They had no idea.
,,How I know Cyber life, they will send more deviants to Mann.co, after all we are just mercs, their pawns." Engineer sighed.
,,Maybe, but even though we are fighting in the battlefield almost everyday, it doesn't mean that we need more things trying to kill us." Demoman hissed and drank some of his Scrumpy.
Other mercs were thinking, Demoman was right, this doesn't make any sense.....
,,Mhmmmm! Mhmhfp!" Pyro's mumbled voice was heard and hi was pointing at something. Everyone looked at him with a really confused look, except for Engi. Engineer looked at him and where he was pointing.
,,What is it, Pyro?" He asked him, but Pyro gave him an usual muffled reply. When he looked up, he noticed something falling.
,,What the....." Soon, he realised that the object has a shape of grenade, his eyes wide. Other mercs saw it too.
,,Get down!" He shouted. All the mercs stood up and ran, but the grenade already landed and exploded. It knocked out many mercenaries. The first one who zoomed back into the reality was Medic.
,,Agh....mein head..." He looked back at the place where the grenade exploded. His Medigun and other weapons were destroyed. This wasn't good. Medic leg was injured and it was possible that the others were wounded too.
,,Ah f***!" He hissed. Then he felt hand on his shoulder. Heavy was helping him to stand up. Others were now conscious too, trying to find a place to hide at least.
,,There's more androids?!" Scout shouted.
,,Looks like it.." Engineer said.

More androids were visible at the hill. They didn't have weapons since that grenade destroyed them. Luckily, Spy had a phone (or talkie walkie idk) and called Ms. Pauling.
,,Ms. Pauling will send a helicopter for us. We just need to wait." Spy put his phone away.
,,How long?" Sniper asked. Spy said about 10 minutes, they need to hang on and wait. They hid in the old building, lame hide out but strong and big. But not enough. Some androids were aggressively throwing things, big and heavy. One of the objects hit Pyro right at the ribs.
,,Oh my, Pyro!" Engi quickly helped his teammate to lay down. Medic checked on him.
,,Hmm..., broken. He can't move now. Let's hope that the help will be there soon."
,,Can't you like to heal him or something?!"
,,Sorry Engineer, but as you seen, my Medigun is destroyed. I have some syringes but it will not heal him properly. Plus, I only have 5 syringes, and I don't think that one will be enough for this case. Others need a syringe too."
Engineer understood but it wasn't really a good look to see his teammate in pain. But he nodded that he understood. Besides, Medic is a doctor. With or without the licence, he still knows what to do.
,,Hey, maggots! Is it normal that the androids are building something?" Soldier was looking through the broken window. Sniper pushed him and looked.
,,Piss, we need to get out. They are making big gun." Sniper hissed.
,,A big w-" Scout didn't finish and a big boom was heard and a little earthquake was able to feel. The wall broke and started to fall, right into Medic. It squeezed him, but did not kill him.
,,*****, where is that help?!" Spy started to get impatient. Medic and Pyro are now seriously injured.

The helicopter was there, finally, they loaded Pyro and Medic first and then the others.
,,Haha! So long, suckers." Demoman laughed to himself.
Medic and Pyro were not doing very well.
,,Mrs. Pauling, directions to the nearest hospital. It got out of control." Sniper said while he was helping Heavy with the injured one.
,,Understand, let's hurry up."
They started flying away, but some androids were sly and smart. One of them (from the beginning) still had a gun. So he took a good moment and shot.

,,Alright maggots, I have a plan to fight all these tin cans!"
,,And what are you planning?" Heavy asked.
,,You will like this big man, it's re-"
Soldier didn't finish, and everyone saw why. He was shot from behind, falling on the ground.

,,I'm sorry gentlemen. But your coworkers and friends didn't make it. I'm sorry to say that." Nurse said.
