Sophie kept on thinking about what Gisela had said, that keefe had to ' embrace the change'. What is his new ability? Before Sophie could finish that thought her imparter rang. It was Keefe! " Hey Keefe" , she said. " Hey Foster, what's up?" " Nothing , do you want to come over ?" " Yea I will be there in a sec." Then the screen went black.

I had just enough time to get dressed and brush my hair. Then I went down and ate some mallowmelt, Edaline just made. Then the door bell rang. " I got it" " Come in " I took his hand and ran up stairs. Today I was planning on telling him about what Gisela had said. " What did you want to talk about?" Keefe asked. She knew he could feel her emotions spiraling , but she didn't care.

" Keefe I've been thinking about what your mom said- " I will never agree with her Sophie, and I'm not leaving you" He seemed so powerful when he used her first name. " No not that. After you left she said that you have a n-new ability ..." Sophie was sitting on her bed with her head in her hands.

Keefe walked over and sat next to her ,and then he grabbed her hand. " Yes I do have a new ability, but I don't know what it is yet. " He said looking down. " Hey, Keefe we can get through this. Remember team Foster-Keefe." Sophie said to him with hope in her eyes. He looked up and said" Do you want to go to the panakes tree." Sophie hoped up and grabbed his hands , and said " sure , let's go."

We are walking hand in hand and all of a sudden there's this big black cloud of smoke coming back from the house. " Keefe look!" Sophie pointed towards the house. Keefe turned around and started running towards the house and I ran after him......
