Chapter 6: Rehearsals

The following day, rehearsals for the musical were in full swing. And to say that Grace was ready for them was a complete understatement. During drama class, the students were doing dress rehearsal for their musical. Troy and Chad were the first ones to start the show. The two boys walked on the stage, which was set as dressing room, and they were both wearing different tuxedos.

[TROY, spoken]
Guess now it's official

[CHAD]
Can't back out, can't back out
No!

Grace, Kelsi, Taylor, and Martha appeared on stage, pressing dresses against their bodies, acting like they were trying to find a dress for prom.

[Grace AND (TAYLOR)]
Gettin' ready (Ready) (Huh?)

The night of nights, alright

Jason, Zeke, and Andrew all came on stage, all wearing tuxedos. The three boys turned to look at Troy and Chad.

[TROY, spoken]
Don't panic

[CHAD, spoken]

[JASON]
Now do we have to dress up for the prom?

[ZEKE, (Andrew)]
Dude, I don't think we have the choice (Uh)

The four boys then turned go back into the fitting rooms to change tuxedos and the girls reappeared on stage.

[KELSI]
Yeah, it's the night of all nights, gotta look just right (Yeah)

[MARTHA]
Dressin' to impress the boys

The boys reappeared in different tuxedos than the last ones.

[CHAD]
Do I want classic or vintage or plaid?

[ZEKE, Andrew]
Where's the mirror?

[JASON]
I think this tux is too baggy

[TROY]
Too tight, it makes me look weird

[Grace]
Should I go movie star glamorous?

[MARTHA]
Sassy or sweet?

Taylor and Grace both stood next to each other, holding the same dress, and shared a look with each other.

[TAYLOR]
Don't know, but no one better wear the same dress as me!
