Chapter-3 what do we have to lose

In a church Selena Lillie and Ash 3 days after the bomb blast was simply morning for Lillie's brother Lillie tried holding back her tears but she couldn't ash didn't know what to do he had saved her but in the process he had killed another person he didn't mean for this to happen this was different

Lillie:...I'm so so sorry galdion(hic up) i I wasn't there when you needed me I'm a failure.....i...i already miss you i wish you could smile again....(holding his picture) my babe brother....(cries hard)

Selena:(shedding tears) he was like my little brother....who would do the?!!!

Ash:(apparently it was a voltorob that was strapped to a bomb when it used self destruct it set the bomb off with all the cars gladion just got in the car 2 minutes earlier.)....Lille i-

Lillie:(hugs ash)(crying) ash....i don't know what I'm gonna do(sniff sniff)

Ash:.....Lillie.....(i have to tell her...maybe...there is some sort of way....that we can fix this)

Selena:(gets up)i-i need some air i be back.

Lillie and ash were now alone in the church ash saw her sad dead face he knew that it was now or never.

Ash:Lillie....i wanna tell you something that i kept from you.

Lillie:(sniff sniff) what?

Ash:...........i know this is gonna sound stupid and silly or maybe crazy talk but it's the 100% truth i need you to trust me and you can't tell anyone!!

Lillie:a-Ash you're scaring me.

Ash:.....Lille.....(sighs) Lillie the truth is you died....in the first timeline.

Lillie:w-what?!(backing away) what are you saying

Ash:remember when you said you had déjà vu?Or that it was wired that i was talking to you?Its because in the first timeline we didn't talk I never came to your house i never knew what Serena was doing to you only until did i interacted with you was the time i changed course and.....and this happened....i changed the future you lived but your brother....he bit the bullet.

Lillie was quiet until she started laughing hysterically ash tried to hug her to conceal her but she slapped him in the face not once but 3 times he rubbed his face as he saw hers

Lille:you monster!!! You're the reason my brother is dead!! You're the one that killed my brother!!!

Ash:no Lille wait just-

Lillie ran out of the church she shoved pass Selena who was coming back in she didn't understand what happened all she saw was ash in the floor curled up in a ball

Ash:(sighs)(what now she's probably gonna tell the police i be locked up and then the murder of gladion will be pinned on me in a way the butterfly effect is coming back on me.) i guest i should have just repeated the day and not did anything.

Selena:what are you saying?!

Ash:(looks up)....you wouldn't understand.

Selena:why don't you try me.

Ash looked at her before sighing

(September/7/2009) abandoned mall

Ash:are you sure you're not gonna murder me here cause this looks like a murder area to me?!

Selena:don't change the subject....(sighs) so in other words you knew lille was gonna die and you tried to stop it?

Ash:tried?! I did stop it!! But the thing is I didn't count on gladion dying this timeline is different!

Selena:okay whats so different?!

Ash:...Lille is alive gladion is dead you're not a flunky and the bombing....that didn't happen before.

Selena:what are you serious?

Ash:the news reported that Lillie was stabbed to death in her car and you were unconscious they pinned it all on gladion but he didn't give a confession.

Selena:what did he say?

Ash:if i can remember from the top of my head......he said that he was hit unconscious....the next moment he was in a pile of his sister's blood and had a knife. The cops didn't care and he got a lifelong sentence.

Selena:hmmmmm i have an idea you said i became a flunky right?

Ash:in the first timeline yes.

Selena:maybe i could go back there and see whats going on?

Ash:Selena listen this whole time
Travel thing probably was a fluke an act of god to give me another chance how the hell can you pull it off hell i probably can't do it anymore.

Selena:listen ash we need this we need this bad what if this happened looking at it from a science perspective there is no way your body
Came back with you(taps her head) you came back with your mind.

Ash:so if thats the case then I'm possessing my past body?!  

Selena:maybe i don't know?! It's complicated
But if I'm still alive in that time line and if it doesn't cease to exist then maybe i can dig around.

Ash:for how long?! And how are we even gonna pull this off?! For me i died Selena i died!!

Selena:i seee.....you died when you die you think back on your life and things that you never got to fix something you regret....so in others you got sent to the point you regretted?!

Ash:your wrong i chose to help lille cause i didn't help before. I never regretted anything in my life except....her....huh....whatever.

Selena:......(pulls out a rubber knife)here

Ash:....you want me to play cops and robbers with you?!  Or

Selena:ahahahaha very funny smartass no
I want to try a test try and stab with all the killing intent you can muster oh and take this(hands a syringe) If i act up or anything use that

Ash:you know you're wired?!

Selena:i get that alot.

Ash:(sighs)...okay ready?!

Selena:yeah!

Ash went back as far as he could then he put on his hood and got in a stance then he started charging at her she didn't move infact him charging at her was working she felt afraid scared and even panicked it brought back ptsd that she had from when she was about to be raped. He lunged at her with the knife and suddenly everything went quiet
