How could I forget it was Ramadan!!?
"Oh I forgot bro sorry will I catch up with you later Insha'Allah," I say to Hamza who's on the phone with me looking down at Nura who was full dressed but was laying on her bed
"Insha'Allah." I hung up him
I'm doomed.
Waking up your sister while she's fasting makings her dress up! Oh boy I'm dead.
"Um sister, you know how in Ramadan you forgive other?" I say fiddling with my fingers
"Hmm," she says her eyes closed
"How about we cancel and we get back to bed, it looks cozy to me right?" Her eyes opens wide open once I finish
She looks up at me and takes a big sigh.
"I'm fasting. Fasting forget and forgive," she fakes a chuckle witch I can tell
I take a big sigh knowing I'm off the hook.
"Um Khalid."
"Yeah," I say my voice sounding squeakily
"Get out of my room!" She doesn't yell my instead whispers
I get out of her room in second never looking back.
Not even once.
